I bought four chicken fillets yesterday. Went looking for them to make lunch earlier, then realised I'd never brought them in from the car.

When people dont have the change ready for bus. i mean its ok if you dont know how much it is but surely have the stinking change ready to go before you ask about it so your not holding everyone up while you search for change.

I always admired FIAT for the sheer balls of producing the original Multipla (the one with the set of lights up at the windscreen) - it was such a desperately ugly car it had to be intentional.

Was the 'bambino' a nickname for the original 500? I was obsessed with them when I was a kid.

I think the bambino was a fiat 126.

I think the Multipla on the outside looked a lot like this car, also seen here in a more realistic version.

I know someone who has one, and they're delighted with it - it's a bit like the Tardis, it's way better (as opposed to bigger) on the inside.

As for the Fiat Bambino, I think that changed from country to country, it could have been the 126, the 500, or even the 600.

Any chance that the inside of your car could have been as cold as your fridge? Here's to hoping... :o

Yes, I just did a quick Google and as New Home says Bambino differs from one place to the next, but I do think it applies to the 126(mad looking) in 70's Ireland.

I do think the Fiat 126 was the Fiat 500's ugly sister - it had all the disadvantages of the 500 without any of its looks...

Possibly - that did occur to me - but I didn't want to chance it ... they're in the bin now, I had spaghetti hoops on toast for my lunch instead. :o

TL:DR - Some old cars are nicer than their newer version, some other old cars had nicknames, and finally there are some godawful ugly models that should have never gotten past the design phase. :)

I don't either and my oh is a mechanic, always talking about cars. Sometimes I just switch off :)

I have to admit the picture of the car in the link menas provided is really nice though. It's almost as if cars are not made to look good anymore.

The Toy Show - I know many people enjoy it and perhaps look forward to it but is it really necessary for RTE 1 to have ' The Toy Show 3 (etc) days to go' in a graphic on the top corner of the screen

Lets go one better. Was it really necessary for TV3 to have their toy show last week and have a section announcing that Santa had been spotted over Dublin? At the start of November? Fcuking idiots...

On that note - stupid, stupid, STUPID Skype showing you as 'available' or 'away' when in fact you're not logged in anywhere and your phone is off. Also, stupid, stupid, STUPID Skype should know by now that 'minimise' or 'hide' aren't the same as 'CLOSE'.

I'm abroad at the moment with a work phone too.

If I get a FB call through messenger it comes through on all 3 devices, all 3 are relatively slow so it is a nightmare !

Skype on my Android tablet starts automatically even tho I didn't ask it to, so it appears I'm online with it. I have to remember to sign out. Grrrr.

My favorite pair of headphones are dying a slow death after 3 years of faithful use. The cable keeps tangling no matter how much effort I put into trying to prevent it from happening, meaning that the connection goes wonky and the sound dips in and out which is annoying when I'm trying to drown out the ambient noise on a bus journey.
I decided to Google them and see if I could buy a replacement pair of the same make and model but as it turns out, they've been discontinued. :( And I love them! They're noise canceling, lightweight, foldable and have sentimental value on account of them being a birthday gift from my brother. I'm really delaying throwing them out but it's only a matter of time before they get too bad to use.
    Heartbroken, I am!

I was showing my dad how to use it on his mobile, then I signed him off and I switched his phone off. On my laptop he was still showing 'live', and even though I signed off and on again myself nothing happened. I then turned his phone on again, I then turned his status to 'invisible', and switched everything off again. Only then did Skype made him 'disappear'. Very often my brother shows up as 'away' even though he's not logged in at all. Damned Skype...

THAT time of the month which explains why I was so moody yesterday and bawled my eyes out after the OH and I had a blazing row.
I'd normally never let arguments get to me, but it all makes sense now.
I've had a Wispa and a Milkybar and I'm not even sorry.

I would like to prescribe you some ice-cream too, take it as many times a day as required. Here's a solidarity hug too.
