Anybody have any views on Thomas Davis Street in Inchicore. Looking at renting a house there and wondering how safe it is? What Luas like for getting into town etc..Thanks

I used to live there. Fairly safe. The Tyrone Place flats are opposite it. St Michael's Estate is gone. You've a 5-10 minute walk for the Luas, and could be quicker getting the bus (13,40) from Emmet Road depending on where you're going. There's a school at the end of the street and towards that end is very, very quiet (it's a cul de sac)

Loads of pubs and take aways in Inchicore Village. Couple of restaurants. Still a few undesirables in the area but no more than any area pretty central to town.
