Ebay seller cancelled order

    I made an offer on two tablets with an ebay seller.The seller came back with a higher counter offer,which I accepted.
    I paid via paypal on Tuesday.
    On Sunday,I received a message from the seller that due to stock tracking errors,he didnt have the stock and was refunding my money.
    (To clarify,he had 5 tablets in stock when I paid)
    Today,I see that he has the same tablet on sale for £35 more than he was going to sell them to me for.(with 3 left)
    I know I'm not going to get the tablets of this chancer,and have already left negative feedback,but is there a way to report sellers to ebay?

    Do ebay have live chat? You could contact them but they are unlikly to do anything. The seller could claim that what he was selling you had been old stock and the new ones listed were new stock that cost him more than the old stock.

    To be honest I really wouldn't give this seller anymore of your time. You have left negative feedback, I would now move on.
