Exactly! This is what every should do but you have already said you took a punt this week which suggests you didn't think that was the case!

Obviously captain choices are only one week but your approach to them should be consistent over the season. The players that do well in this game are the ones who make consistently good decisions from season to season not the ones who take crazy captain punts that come off a couple of times a year.

Ah yeah, I know that. I'm not a casual player, I've been playing for quite a while but have been taking it more seriosuly in the last few years. It's a punt in the sense that it's a midfielder for a mid-table club, but not that crazy as it's Sunderland at home! Plus, I think a lot of others will agree that "consistent", obvious captain choices haven't worked out this season :p

There was actually a really good post by someone here a few weeks ago saying how a lot of the obvious captain choices this season didn't work out and how a lot of big hitters came from MNF. This helped my Bolasie decision :p

If you had got that close to it I think everyone would have been very impressed with your composure! I doubt many would have any screens or fists left if that happened to them!!

i'd have probably hired a hitman on Aguero 😃

It is nice having MNF cap! No matter what happens it always sucks when you have no Monday players and you know you are always going to drop in rankings even if you'e gone from like 1m to 100k in the OR by Sunday you still hate the Monday ranking update!

    Goal Kane :)

Took the captaincy off him to Aguero late on friday - be long game now watching him if he scores a few,
makes it even harder now to dump him for Lukaku - poor old Vardy might be getting the boot.

Kane, Lukaku and Vardy all score. At the minute I don't know how I can fit in my favourite player in the game.

An excellent post from an excellent poster indeed :D =>http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=97605250&postcount=25

But I did mention that the puntiest MNF (C) may not work that great :p

Also, this week is actually an anomaly since the obvious (*) (C) scored heavily.
    (*)= most captained.

Kane literally took the ball off Eriksen's feet. Massive point swing there :(

I'm working at home today and not watching, is there some reason the assist mightn't stand??

I don't have him but it clearly came off him last

I dont know how Aguero can be justified when those 3 are doing the business at the moment

Think it came off him last, don't think it was given for the initial block.
