The most hateful of non-words. It's essentially saying "I have no opinion but must make a noise anyway."

I disagree, 'Meh' expresses exactly what the person is feeling, which is usually, but not always, indifference, or a 'middle-of-the-road' displeasure/disgust. It's the English language version of the French shoulder shrug. At least, that's how I interpret it. :P

I got very similar results. "It seems that Social Democrats is the one for you." Labour were second.

Also, awaiting a delivery of cat food and managed to not mess it up this time and have been speaking to the driver and given him directions (because they can never find our house) and made sure someone would be there (my brother) and now I am calling to see if he signed for it...and his phone is turned OFF.
I presume you gave the driver your Eircode number because that's what any sane person would do! I have to say, though...Eircode are useless at making your brother be there for the delivery.

People who walk through the office or canteen with an unlit cigarette already between their lips. Really like, are you that stretched for time that you can't wait until you're outside the door?

it tastes "nice", it heightens the anticipation, it feels good

Boards disabled posting pics in AH years ago when posting memes was all the rage, threads were less discussion and just meme replies, when server storage on the site was at a premium and the servers couldn't cope with all the images (in the days before image hosting sites when everyone was on 56k dial-up). There's a thread in the feedback forum about it, just do a search for "lolcats" ;)

People who have no idea what I'm talking about... I'm getting well old :o

Ah ok, fair enough - I did try and look for information about it a while back in the charter, but I couldn't see anything, thanks for explaining that. :)

If you have some cocoa you could make yourself a hot chocolate... I know it's not the same, but it could fool your brain long enough to stop the craving. :) Hope the headache goes away quickly,

Needing to have correct change for a bus that doesn't give change, and of course not having it, and needing to buy small things in the shop to break a note and have the right change, just to get the right money... and trying to plan exactly what to buy in the shop so I end up with the right coins back

Headphones. No matter how I store them they always come out of my bag/pocket/whatever tangled in a way I couldn't create if I tried

My clothes will not stay on their bloody hangers.

I burst a washing liquid tab all over the box of them so now they're all wet and feel horrible to touch.

My kitten Luna is way too fast for me to catch. Drives me mad when I need to go somewhere and she's playing games with me.

I can't stop eating this week. Everything I see, I have to have. Ridiculous.

I'm having a very trivially annoying day.

They look like a great idea, but they'd be hell if you have long hair.

I have very long hair (near bum length) and so far so good, and usually don't have it tied up.

But I have a feeling I'm gonna suddenly now notice them bothering me :P

Was really fancying some hot chilli doritos. Went to shop and got what I thought was a big bag of them, but only realised when I put one in my mouth that they're actually bbq rib doritos, and they're just doing nothing for me at all.

I know that when my hair is at the front and I've a zip-up top with the zipper open my hair always gets tangled in those tiny tabs/prongs/teeth/whatever the heck they are called. Maybe it's just my hair, though.

My TA, now that I think of it, is the way that on windy days my hair always manages to get itself locked out of the car door. It's a big ouchie, I can tell you.

Oooh gotcha. My advice if you buy zip up earphones is that it's less important to have them zipped up when you're wearing them - but it's when you have them in your bag etc (when they magically get themselves tangled, always) that the zip is particularly useful :D

People who are snoring on the couch with the remote grasped tightly in their hands(remote not a euphemism:p)but when you try to take it they claim they are awake watching the TV.
    There will be blood...

Ah I agree, if there's a way to stop the curse of the tangled earphones in your pocket/bag I'm all for it - apparently scientists have come up with an algorithm to explain the phenomenon.

I had a similar problems with a set of speakers that I use for work.

ALWAYS get the leads tangled in my bag. ALWAYS.

I am pleased that there's now the option of wireless speakers, but I'm just too unsure of what I'm doing with them, so continue to live with this problem.
