The DailyMail are leading with a restrained 'BLOODBATH IN PARIS'.

As much as I despise the Mail and it's sensationalist headlines, it ain't a fcking picnic, is it?

It's depressing the amount of people on this thread who don't seem to get this. It plays right into these nutter's hands.
People are fed up, that is why. It is constantly Muslims doing it. I don't know what else you want people to say or think. They are only reacting by what they see.

It isn't our problem socially, it is a Muslim problem.

A suicide bomber at a football stadium in a city at the heart of Europe

Sit back and think about that for a minute

    Game changer

Been saying it for years .... champions league game, Premier league game, Bundesliga, Seria A, La Liga, NFL / NBA game ... the casualty count would be enormous

There was a news story that money in Qatar for the 2022 World cup was being siphoned off and given to ISIS. Qatar own PSG, the French need to seize Qatari assets if ISIS are indeed the culprits, which seems the case.

If I allowed my anger at these events to enter into my discourse here then I would quite honestly be banned. What I have said offline, and believe, should happen would leave mods with no option but to close my account. So, instead of using vitriol I will simply state the only salient sentiment I can muster at this time:

France, mon cœur est avec vous.

You are basing that on what???

I love the irony of the people on this thread that openly blame a grouping on the whole for act of a minority

Give the minority thing a rest will you? I live in a part of England where I and the English around me are in a massive minority.

Explosions and gun fire now reported at the concert where there's up to 100 hostages.

This will be the start of world war 3.

Is it? You weren't bothered by the slaughter of millions of children and women in Iraq and all across the middle east as a result of the West's 'liberation' of these places?[/QUOTE

I really dont think this is the time to compare Apples and Oranges. I for one would think this is a declaration of War on Europe. If I was Hollande Id be talkin about nukin the f ukers!!

What peaceful choices could they have taken exactly, to combat the biggest militaries in the world f*cking their countries for resources and bulldozing anybody who tried to object?
Anger is an inevitable consequence of hopelessness and helplessness. Violence is not an inevitable consequence of anger but it's a common consequence.

The USA was gone from Iraq by the time Daesh got started, they could have used any number of peaceful tactics to push their cause. Or they could have fought against the military only and not kill/rape/enslave civilian populations, they DID have choices but you're pushing that what they did was effectively pre-determined. You're coming very close to justifying what Daesh do, despite how vociferously you protest that you don't.

Ah here, there a billion or so people who practice Islam, they are people with the same hopes and dreams as anyone. Fanatics are the problem and what drives them. That's what needs to be addressed.

is Islam addressing it ?????? **** no

Bollocks. Al Qaeda in Iraq, the group from which ISIS (assuming that's who is responsible for tonight) emerged expended far more energy on murdering Shia Muslims than they ever did on fighting Western forces. They are not helpless victims, they are fanatical sectarian killers.

The French press have learned from Charlie Hebdo, and are giving absolutely zero info about police actions.

But Islam spawns the fanatics. If Islam is so unsafe that it does so, then Islam is the problem.

Taxi drivers in Paris have turned off their meters and are making sure people get home safely and for free.
    Curfew imposed also.
