Still no sign of game patch notes?

Said it before and will say it again. This major update is 8 days away and it seems all you guys are getting at the moment is bugs? With every 300mb+ patch you get something else stops working and something else is fixed. Are the rushing this? I am Xbox to the core ever since the first Xbox but from a financial point of view, Microsoft NEED this to go smoothly to push sales for Christmas.

This update needs to go off without any hitches because you can be sure that if it is buggy in any way, it will be all over the gaming sites and twitter etc, and will be more damaging than not.

No point in releasing it, if it is not ready. All of the changes they are bringing look really really good and I am excited for Xbox but this needs to work first time.

The only problem I see people reporting is the party chat for some people. I'm sure they'll fix that in 1 of the many update between now and the 12th.

Good to hear, I am really looking forward to it. Of the videos I have seen, it does look 100 times faster than the current setup.

Most of the existing bugs are fairly minor/low impact. There will be a lot of fixes checked in between now and launch and even then you can expect QFEs to drop if anything slips through. There has been a massive upscale in speed and reliability since the new dash was betad 2/3 months ago. That said, this should have been tested and polished back at the end of august, not working like mad until d-day.

Parties:
You should no longer receive party invite notifications when no one is signed in.
This build contains a fix to address issues with choppy audio after pressing mute on the controller.

Guide:
This build contains a fix to address issues with the Guide failing to open.
This build contains a fix to address issues with the Guide crashing after launch.
The Guide should no longer crash when navigating to the Messages tab or selecting Invite More on the party tab (which would subsequently remove you from the party).

Installation:
When copying content from the internal hard drive to an external hard drive or vice versa, the progress bar should no longer display values in excess of 100%.
You should no longer encounter issues installing certain titles from a disc when Play disc automatically is disabled.
This build contains a fix to address issues with installations in progress failing to continue when the console enters connected standby.
In-game marketplaces: This build contains a fix to address issues with crashes when purchasing content from in-game marketplaces in certain titles (including Gems of War and Guacamelee: STCE).
Privacy Settings: You should no longer encounter an error message or incorrect information when accessing Privacy & online safety in Settings.

Backgrounds:
This build contains a fix to address issues with frequent dashboard crashes after changing the background.

MTU errors:
MTU should no longer be reported incorrectly, and you should no longer encounter MTU errors when performing a multiplayer connection test.

PLEX:
The PLEX app should no longer close when suspended during video playback and resumed at a later time.

FIXES

- Upload Studio: This build contains a fix to address an issue with some users being unable to install or update Upload Studio.

- Kinect Studio: Kinect Studio should no longer fail to launch.

- Powering off devices in Energy-Saving mode: Your devices (TV, AV Receiver, etc.) should now power off correctly when powering down the console in Energy-Saving mode.

- Launching games & apps in Instant-On mode: This build contains a fix to address issues with games and apps failing to launch due to “Do you own this game or app?†errors after resuming from connected standby.

- Adding friends: When adding a friend on a child account or with an account in which adding friends has been disabled, you will no longer see a generic error message, and instead will be prompted to enter your password.

- Party and game invites: This build contains a fix to address an issue which allowed multiple party or game invites to be sent in rapid succession.

- SmartGlass keyboard: The SmartGlass keyboard should no longer fail to register input in certain apps (Skype, UFC TV, VUDU, etc.).

- Achievements: When loading achievements, you should no longer encounter a white screen with no loading indicator.

- Wallpapers and custom backgrounds: This build contains a fix to address an issue with users being unable to set their background from a screenshot or achievement art.

KNOWN ISSUES

- General System Issues: Party and game chat: You may be unable to hear others when joining a party chat.

+ Workaround: Switching to game chat should allow you to hear others correctly.

Last few updates feel a little sluggish vs earlier ones, there is a noticeable lag when in game and double tapping the guide button to bring up the side menu. It's not slow but is noticeably slower to me at least

Yup, side menu's gone fierce slow for me, compared to what it was anyway.

Controller update too. Not sure if for 3.5mm or everyone.

Latest update seems to have fixed the issue with plex.

Also it seems that the patch noted that were linked have been deleted from reddit

Hi guys been a long time since I posted or even turned on my xbone...

I fact it has a 2gb update it is currently downloading...

Has the update situation improved? I boxed it up because it was always doing some form of an update and I had terrible Internet.

Is there still constant updates ?
