Woodfired stoves

Hi all I have just bought a house with a woodfired stove.I have no information on it and do not know exactly how it works. It doesn't seem to give off much heat at the moment. Does anyone recommend someone for a call out to do a check on it around cork area. Thanks

Is it a standalone or built in? Can you post a pic.
