crtl alt delete not working in windows 10

hi i uploaded windows 10 in the past fortnight. everything seemed to be working well but today when i turned on the laptop and it brought me to the "ctrl alt del" screen. when i pressed these three buttons nothing happened. i had to restart it a few times and do a diagnostic test before it worked. any ideas what could be…

Could be as simple as a dodgy keyboard.
Have you got another one to test?
