There's a controller update available too. My one prompted me to update it as soon as NXOE update was done. Wireless updating with the covert controller is so handy!

Not sure what's changed in the controller update yet tho.

Anyone notice the D-pad lagging a bit when navigating through the new NXE. Works 100% with the analog sticks but when you press the D-pad to move around it sometimes it takes a second longer to respond.

I got that as well. I've requested to be removed from the preview program now. Party problems were just getting to me.

Have to say I like the new dash and I'm looking forward to the official release.

Just so you're aware, that will factory reset your console for you so back everything up.

I have everything on an External anyway. I did the reset yesterday myself and reloaded my profile but the party still wouldn't work.

Button mapping is now available with the controller update.

Go to devices, controller and then Button mapping.

It's available for a while now I thought?

I was there since I got the preview dash but hadn't worked until a week or so ago.

Confirmed launch date for the new dashboard is November 12th, with backward compatibility.

    Another 400mb+ update available.

Same changelog as yesterday pretty much.

Here's hoping it's part of the games with gold for November.
Edit: sorry, forgot it was free last year.

Date for the update is the 12th November. Looking forward to this. It mentions that Cortana is included in this update, I thought she was delayed until the new year.

Cortana is delayed, Eurogamer just aren't very good at getting non-Sony news accurate.

My guess is that we're going to be seeing a lot more builds from now on, probably nightly or every two nights.

My advice to anyone on a capped download limit is to leave the new dash preview.

Builds are rolled every day its just that not all get pushed out to preview as many contain fixes that can be verified on site. I second your advice though, also if you like in the country like me and have ****e broadband be prepared for your console for the next 2 weeks to just constantly have the update screen up. I've taken to updating a console at work and rotating it home otherwise I'd never get to play.

Got an E201 error earlier, rebooted and it was fine. Should I be worried

    Hi guys

When I received the Windows 10 update for my Xbox One I was able to use Cortana but since the last few updates she has gone. Is she still working for any of you that enabled her? I tried to enable her again but the previous method does not seem to work any more.

    thanks for your help,

No, Cortana has been disabled. Official release is sometime next year, so those in the preview will probably see the feature in December again, with a lot more refinement.

A new problem on NXOE, launching YouTube causes Xbox to abruptly shut down completely.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,856 ✭✭✭MiskyBoyy

    New NXOE update:

    DETAILS:
    OS version released: th2_xbox_rel_1510.151026-2048
    Available: 6:00PM PDT 10/28 (2AM GMT 10/30)

    Sign-In Issues:
We’re currently tracking a sign-in issue which some users are experiencing. If you’re having difficulty signing in, please try the workaround below, and if it resolves the issue, please reply to this thread in the Preview forums.
Workaround: Go to Settings/Account/Remove accounts and delete your account. Then, open Guide/Sign in tab/Add & manage/Add new to recover your profile to the Xbox.

    Disc Based Games:
When attempting to launch a disc based game, you may be prompted to sign in with the user who owns the game.
Workaround: Eject and re-insert the game disc.

    Fixes:

Game Install: When installing some game titles with pending updates, you should no longer experience installs which show a progress rate greater than 100%.

MTU: MTU should no longer display as 510 when running a multiplayer connection test.

Installation Stopped errors: This build contains a fix for encountering installation stopped errors when installing digital games and apps.

USB keyboards and sign-in: When using a USB keyboard to enter your password, pressing the tab key should no longer cause the sign-in page to lock up.

Yup, annoying. My kid is going mental and i don't have youtube to babysit her :/ Though on a positive note I don't have to listen to 5 speckled frogs any more.
