"Family motorist", do they get exemption from the traffic laws?

They do if they're elderly - in Joe's eyes.

Remember the auld wan who "forgot" to pay her car insurance and had a little crasheen and Joe couldn't understand why the insurance company wouldn't pay for it. Wasn't it Bernadette or something like that? And he christened her "Saint Bernadette"…..

    He's some tool.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,351 ✭✭✭✭Harry Angstrom

As long as the pharmacies had the iodine tablets, everything would be grand.

Wonder did Duffy have his own emerdgency plan in place that he would extend the show by half an hour to deal with the outrage?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,006 ✭✭✭✭Flukey

He stood under the Parthenon and closed the banks?

That would not have happened here. We'd still be waiting for the planning permission to come through for the Parthenon.

No. There wouldn't have been enough money in the country to pay him for another half an hour.

I not sure but I think they had an expiry date around 2003.

incase anyones wondering WTF this is all about in 2011 the tits fell off the euro as the bond lads went after france and italy and switzerland gave up pegging to it.

so its not actually OUR economic crisis it was all about , but a union wide one.

got solved when the ECB loaned out somewhere near 2 TRILLION to banks (which surprise surprise we never saw)

well "solved" till now where were printing money hand over fist to combat deflation. theres actually a meeting today to see whether to ramp that up more or not.
