add in barnidge has played one game more as the fins have already had their bye. theres actually not much in them.

barnidge was my backup te. Hes elite but I have Antonio gates back now and hes also an elite TE.

I needed a WR and the difference in points gained having Matthews playing instead of Harry Douglas versus what I could possible lose having gates play instead of barnidge means ive very comfortable with the trade.

it should be added that before this season Barnidge had one career TD catch in the NFL in 4 seasons at Carolina.

Now he might just end up having an insane season, or he may not only time will tell. Irrespective of what way that goes I was happy to let him go to improve my team overall.

I thought TO gave up too much myself (as WRs are more important to me) but each to their own

with people thinking I gave up too much and people thinking TO gave up too much tells me its a fairly balanced trade :P

Well that's the point. That's why I'd never block a deal. if you lads are happy, then so be it

I rarely trade for this reason and this trade could backfire on me thats for sure like you WR are more important to me than TE but Bennett is killing me and im hoping barnidge offers me added points weekly.

with Maclin , Allen and Bryant I think your set at WR anyway TO ;)

Someone just offered me Boldin for Barnidge. Why would I trade a guy I just got :)

Why wouldn't you if you got a decent offer? Obviously that trade offer is awful though :).

Very true but I honestly feel unless someone offered me an elite player there is no decent offer to it as I need a solid TE so offloading a solid TE would be suicide in my game plan

only the second time I've gone over 100 this year and I'm on to 4-3. If I can keep starters fit I'll be OK...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,879 ✭✭✭D3PO

Yep over 100 and a 3rd win in a row moving me to 4-3 myself too.

Unless Justin Tucker can score 38 points more than the Arizona D tonight :p

Nice to see that my new trade acquisition had a good game and I note Mr Barnidge equally had a good game for TO whos WRs also performed so looks like a positive trade for us both (this week at least)

After starting 0-2 against divisional opponents id pretty much written off my playoff chances but think I will be in a wildcard spot after this race so defo in the mix :)

Weekly reminder that the 2nd best QB in fantasy (on a PPG basis) is up for trade. I know some of you need a QB. Looking for a WR in return

    His bye is done too...

Hey, you offered me a trade this morning. I countered with what I thought was a very fair offer. Would love to know why you rejected the counter. Just remember you can't play two QBs, so that sort of downgrades your bargaining power.

It does. I would have commented but phone didn't give me the option. I want to add WR depth and I felt Aiken isn't really an upgrade on Austin and with his bye coming up, it wasn't worth it

I think you were substantially upgrading at QB so thought a straight swap was fairest

Fair enough ;). I didn't think my offer was that outrageous that it warranted no reply :D:D.

Eddie Lacy coming into his usual 2nd half of the season and is available for anyone who is interested. Looking for an average RB and WR upgrades

another crappy week by me so inconsistent this season. Back to 4-4 unless there is an Odell Becham type score put in by TY Hilton tonight.

I've had my best week so far and move to 5-3. I think that should be enough to sneak into the play off wild card spot

It will do my loss will drop me out of the wildcard spots and you will take my place.

Quick look at the scoreboard there. Apart from division leaders looks like 2 teams at 5-3 and maybe 5 teams at 4-4. Only one game looks in any doubt this week ahead of tonight's game

Just can't catch a break, Rodgers with a terrible 6 points. I still have a chance of gore scores big tonight but unlikely. Will be a good season if I don't get relegated.

After a 3-1 start i went on a 3 game losing streak. Thankfully Cam Newton got me over the line to snap that streak

Dundalk Oriels has two trades going which are leaving him with a very poor WR corp. What is going on, seems a little strange to me.

I don't think either trade is a bad trade when you look at them independently of each other but when you look at the overall picture it seems like he is making a mess of his roster.

Some going by TO to pick up Derek Carr off waivers and use him to trade to Dundalk Oriels (who waived Carr last week) for Julio Jones when he's desperate for a WR
