Coppers would give him his notebook. Proper order. I wouldn't give anyone my little black book.

Don't know if it's been mentioned but had a look at Joe's rizing buke in Easons today. Bound and printed in Germany. Hachette Books Ireland written big all over, but it seems they both prefer to export jobs.

No doubt this will be forgotten when he's making snide jabs at the political parties printing election material and posters abroad.

That's a good one, isn't - nothing like supporting the German economy. I suppose they have all those extra immigrants to employ now..

That said, the printing industry is in serious decline in Ireland in terms of what it can handle - it's a vicious circle. The more work that is sent abroad, the more closure of printers here and those that survive only do standard work. Anything out of the ordinary now seems to have to go abroad, because we've lost the skills and equipment.

Anyone know if Joe will be claiming 'Artists Exemption' from income tax for his work on this opus of cultural merit?

That lady summed up Joe perfectly

"it's like having two ESB poles and nothing to transmit the signal between them"
