18-10-2015 08:19PM#1So i have bought myself a solid but slightly rough around the edges E39 520i from a fellow boardsie that i plan to keep for 6-9 months and sell on .
Things i want to do are.
- Integrated blueooth with a usb charging port
- Replace non multi functional steering wheel with a multi fuctional one and in doing so enable cruise control if it's wired for it
- Polish car maybe respray back bumper and give it the valeting of it's life.
- Some small visual touches like polish exhaust/replace bmw badges/whiter light angel eyes/new dim bulbs without ruining the cars classic ageless look.
- Sell it to some lucky person once all this is done and i decide what i want next
Here are afew pictures of said car as it stands (I will add some pictures of paint scuffs and the like tomorrow and how i am going to tackle them). Car will be parked up for 3 weeks while i drive another car and make full use of it's time off the road to get her spik and/or span.
