It's not WWII forum is it?

No it isn't, but we should never forget those who damm well gave their lives so that we now enjoy freedoms.

Without very brave people like Jozef Gabčík, Jan Kubiš and others we might not have the freedom to even discuss this.

And a bit of knowledge never hurt anyone.

I am not allowed discuss …

Its not, but often there are very interesting back stories behind the locations that are posted.
In this case, a very significant turning point in WW2.

But you have to respect rules Prague was in my post two days ago and you ignored it.

And did you see where I said "go on ...." when you mentioned Prague.
That was a hint to continue.
Sorry if that was not clear enough for you.

You can't just say a city and expect to win, you have to be somewhat precise.

BTW if you want to be pedantic and bring in rules, you broke them by two posts in a row.

Well done Elmo, quick off the mark there, it is Plaice Saint Sulpice in Paris.
The street view was taken when the square was covered for some fair or big event, so I used a photo sphere shot of the square instead.

I was in Paris last month, stayed not to far from it :)

I'll stick one up in a bit....

EDIT: Just as a matte of interest can you use photosphere pics instead of street view? What about for countries/places that don't have street view but do have photosphere?

In fairness, it's one of the only places on this thread that I've actually been to :).
Print Screen is disabled on the laptop I'm using right now but will try to get something up before the end of the night, once I've psyched myself up to make the long hazardous journey into the kitchen.

From the buildings it looks like Amsterdam. But there are so many of those outdoor restaurant/cafes I can't be more precise.

About 24 hours and no guesses I can't stay on boards 24/7 unfortunately so just wanted to clear the way for the next puzzle. Please feel free to post one

No guesses, don't mean no one is looking for the answer. Sunday, especially yesterday, people can be busy with other things.
No one expects anyone to be on boards 24/7 to give a reply. If someone guesses correctly with a streetview screen shot, or a good description of the location, the game automatically moves on.
