yes and the episode when he drove Todd out and back again seemed like it would be a turning point but no, back to the same old horn dog/dick head next episode.

i guess the best thing there only 2 eps left so he''ll have to man up soon

    Renewed for a second season.

it must be dirt cheap to produce. I'm going to watch macgruber and if i find that funny, its definitely the show that sucks and not will forte, he was great in nebraska. Thats scientific.

Its actually a great show which I look forward to every week! Great little cameo from Will Ferrell in last nights second episode of series two!

I watched about six episodes of it but it started to feel like it was just hitting the same note over and over again so I gave up.

    Does it get better?

It's not a great show in terms of story and character development, but it's just very watchable and everyone in it is great. Always has some great moments sprinkled throughout.

Anyone watching season 2? Been so so for me...

    Ya same old same old...
I really enjoyed the 1st episode from each series but once it settles down to a run of the mill sitcom I'm finding it quite tedious. The newer characters aren't bringing much to the party and I'm finding Tandys path to redemption hard going.
I'd really like to see a big character to come into the show to shake things up. I was hoping Will Ferrell might have been it...but alas.

Not enjoying this season as much as the first.

I really enjoyed it. The last episode alone makes me hope that this show stays going for another while longer.

I thought the scenes with the Brother in Space were way ahead of anything that happened on the ground.

Quite enjoyable but once they stopped finding new people it got stale.

I think if the show was finding new people regularly, it would keep character relationships shallow. There's only so much time in a half-hour show to introduce new characters and have interactions between the ones already established.

Its only ok this year not great....episodes seems very short and nothing really seems to have happened. They've danced around Phils brother in space for the whole of season 2 .

Yeah, to be honest I think they jumped from 1 to 7 pretty quickly so I'm delighted the pace has slowed down.

Don't feel there's much need for the plot to progress too quickly either.

There's nowhere for the plot to go, really. What it boils down to is that it's some people stuck in a place, a sort of post apocalyptic Gilligan's Island but with less celebrity guest stars.

Just finished off season 2, interest here seems to have died off after the midseason finale back in December.

Introducing brotherly cuckolding...yeah, hilarious idea. The writers/creators have ruined a great premise, and I spend most episodes annoyed by the characters actions. Quite surprised it even get renewed for a third season, with it's mediocre ratings and plot.

I actually loved the second season and I'm pretty amped for a third. I thought the first season really slumped in the middle and Phil had no growth... thought season two was fairly strong throughout and managed to mix solid comedy with genuinely compelling/sad stories.

Anybody Know where I can buy the second season of this in Dublin?

I don't know how I stuck with it but season 3 of this is terrible, each epsiode worse than the last.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,206 ✭✭✭Lucas Hood

    Yeah it's got bad .

The first season with Phil on his own and maybe when Carol came into it was the best.

There have been some weaker episodes this season, but I can't agree with the previous two posts at all!
