Yet its the game no one wants to experience including the home side! :pac:

With Rodgers position now under genuine scrutiny and rumours of high profile potential replacements flying about the manager really needs to this game like a hole in the head - play well and no one will give him any credit beating a side dwelling in League Two, get held to a FT draw, never mind beaten and the knives will be out big time esp as the match squad is rumoured to be pretty strong esp when compared to the youthful side that played most of the Bordeaux game.

As for form - Liverpool have not won a game since scraping past Bournemouth while Carlisle after a ropey start have won three of their last five with Jabo Ibehre the leagues top scorer albeit four of the eight were from the spot. The Cumbrians will have absolutely nothing to lose as they arrive and will surely go at Liverpool from the whistle.

As mentioned in the title, none of the UK sport channels are covering this on either radio or TV other than reports, so its a case of trying to fool the BBC Merseyside geo-block or seeking out something on the internet (actually you might do better to check if Carlisle are doing a match comm online, you might be surprised how many small clubs have people at games with a basic web-cast set up)

That's not strictly true. You "CAN" watch the game should you have BEIN sports 11, it's not hard to find avenues to obtain it, not that I promote that sort of thing :)

On holidays so the local bar is showing this tonight but it could possibly ruin my holiday if I have to suffer through yet another dismal performance.

Hopefully the €2 pints might ease the pain though

Its not a bet I expect to win anyway, it was a freebie so worth a punt.

This'll be a thoroughly entertaining match as the free scoring Carlisle Utd, who are the top scorers in their division visit free scoring Liverpool.

At least part of the above sentence is true anyhow.

I was in Portugal on 29th August watching that piece of crap West Ham performance and I can assure you the €2 pints do nothing to ease the pain, in fact you may become even angrier.

We could do with a win here but tbh I don't fancy us to beat anyone at the moment! :(

Not a hope of that happening.

Don't think we'll see too weak a team (enough I think fringe players should be given a chance). Reckon we'll win 2-1 with goals from Firmino and Ings.

Its kind of tragic that all we are hoping for is any sort of a win against the likes of Carlisle. :(

Strong @LFC team tonight. Bogdan makes his debut, Allen returns alongside Milner, Ings up front.

Confirmed #LFC team v @officialcufc: Bogdan, Clyne, Skrtel, Lovren, Moreno, Can, Milner, Allen, Lallana, Firmino, Ings

Fulton, Coutinho, Gomez, Origi, Brannagan, Ibe, Rossiter

    Looks like 3-4-2-1

Is Sturridge injured again? Extremely odd that Rodgers wouldn't want to give him at least 30 mins to build up his fitness.

Not a very experienced bench barring Coutinho. Seems to be going for the younger lads which is fair enough tbh.
