Does anyone here feel under pressure from friends, colleagues, acquaintances to be in a relationship? As if there is something wrong with you if you are not? I used to feel that way and when I was in a relationship I used to compensate by often saying 'my girlfriend and I' when talking to others. But now, I don't care what others think. I am certainly not going to be in a relationship unless I want to be for myself

I'm not under pressure from family anyway in that they're not at me often to meet someone. Basically, it will happen when it happens. I'm not under pressure from friends either, but seeing so many in relationships or even engaged does make me feel that I need to be with someone at this stage. It doesn't tend to come up that often anyway. There is one colleague that will say that I need to meet someone, or she'd like to see me with a nice girl, or will even talk about setting me up with someone. The latter hasn't materialised, however.

To be honest, I don't like to be asked for the simple reason being that I have to say I'm not with anyone. I mean, it would be great to be able to say that I'm with someone and not to feel like the odd one out. I am probably the only single person in my workplace. I don't know of anyone else that's single. Maybe a couple are, but I never ask. I just know through conversations.

Does it worry me that I'm not with someone at 29 years of age? To a certain extent, yes. Does it worry me that I have never been in a proper relationship at 29 years of age? Yes. But, I know I'm not alone on that front. I'm not even thinking about marriage. It's just meeting someone and actually being with someone that I think about.

Work is having a Christmas party in Hollywood. I would kill to go there, I've never even been to USA.

thanks guys, scary as hell! you're right Trebor, very hard to find one but not giving up. Plenty of fish in the sea as they say :)

Fair play to you for doing that, I know I couldn't anyway. It's better to know where you stand now and move on as best you can.

What is the attraction to bad boys?! I can't even explain it to myself. I see a guy, I know he's going to be trouble, and I love it.

And I cannot wait to get the new iPhone. My phone that I've got right now is almost 3 years old and is good as new. Never given me any problems at all, except needing to replace the battery. I'd be lost without my iPhone. My favourite feature on it is being able to block certain people from calling, and being able to screen grab absolutely everything :)

Mammy dinners are the best. The ohs mam makes the best mammy dinners. You heading out this weekend?

Probably not. I wouldn't really know anyone in Listowel that I'd head out with.

I don't want to jinx it but there's a possibility that I'm no longer single! I'm not saying much more though, at least not yet.

Why are people surprised when bad boys become bad men?

Don't know!! You're never going to tame them and even if you do, it's probably going to kill off the one thing that appeals to you about them.
I can't help but find myself intrigued though, although my OH is nowhere near being a bad boy so I don't think I'd settle down with one

I have to buy something nice to make me feel better. There's a sale on in Debenhams, one of the few places to have decent underwear.
