What's wrong with waterford ladies :)

Nothing....just I'm not from the town  and it's in a lot of cases v.inward looking..(Look after its own-nothing wrong as such)....in all the times I was out in Waterford I had better success meeting/shifting WANs from outside the county-in Waterford for the night

I don't really like going out in Waterford anyway....something weird about it it makes me anxious (even during day) and while I don't mind going outside my comfort zone...I don't like that feeling and haven't great memories there....kinda just outgrown it for want of a better phrase

*i don't mean to sound a pain in the hole :P

    Agh I'm not :O
Well don't mean to be anyway :P

Its just I do fear sitting around and reaching me 30s thinking I've wasted my life not going to see some bit of the world as realistically I've nothing to hold me here only I love my job (where I work) and farming so much....only for that I'd be gone I've no real responsibilities as such

Like realistically I cannot see anything changing to make me not single and It doesn't massively bother me

You've only wasted your life if you have regret. And let's be clear here, there is nothing wrong with being/wanting to be single.

It doesnt sound too bad tom. Its a rare enough thing that anyone will like there job so you have that, steady work and income and the farming. Your still only in your 30s too so plenty of time to find a lassie.

Being single is great. Can stay out all night, kiss all the people you like, come home, get into your own bed with nobody pawing at you, nobody waking you up in the mornings being loud, can sleep in the middle of the bed like a starfish with nobody stealing the duvet. You can do things on your own schedule. You can be late as you like and take as long as you like getting ready for things without someone shouting at you to hurry up.

There's a lot to be said for it all the same

    Woohoo, three day weekend :D

Nothing overly exciting for the dinner. It was MacDonald's, but a break from the usual Friday night fish and chips (not as nice as takeaway fish and chips).

Last night's dinner topped the dinners of the week, though: a homemade paella with some sort of delicious Spanish bread. I never had that meal before, but it was delicious :)

I miss Spain :( Paella is gorgeous if cooked properly :)

I wish I was more adventurous with food. My ohs brother is here and I'm so annoyed. He just ate a brunch, then a twister - and I'm talking taking chomps out of them. Now he's eating hunky dory crisps (a big massive share packet) and is crunching them so loud I can still hear it over the TV. If he doesn't finish them soon I'm going to tell him to go outside and eat them

Seriously it's like the bag is never ending

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,772 ✭✭✭mg1982

Nothing more annoying than a noisy eater. Crisps are the worst for that.

I have personal hatred for noisy popcorn eaters in the cinema.
