UPC Splitter Question

Hi Everyone, I have a broadband only package with UPC. Based on my research I understand that if I install a coax splitter into the UPC point that delivers my broadband, I should be able to conntect a coax cable from the splitter to the back of the TV and should be able to tune in basic channels. Hi Everyone,

Hi,

I have just moved into a rented house with a UPC access point.

There is currently a 3 way splitter attached and there is a white coax cable running from point 1 to a TV, there is nothing plugged into point 2 and there is another coax cable in point 3 which is further split along the line to another 2 TV's.

The new broadband router arrived today and i figured i could just plug the coax cable into the middle slot of the 3 way splitter which was free. It worked perfectly but eventually kept knocking off the signal on one of the TV's.

Am i asking too much to be able power Fibre broadband while also giving analogue channels to 2 other TV's?
