seemed to be alot of noise overhead south Dublin so i took a look, 3 Air Corps planes and a helicoptor all out of Dublin this morning in the last 30 minutes.

    routine or something up?

also, very strange flight paths now with alot of planes heading up towards Kells before coming back down, this one looks like had a missed approach and then back around again.

couple of DAA vehicles out on the runway now so must be something up.

Getting some chatter on the feed from the pc9's too ;)

ya 9 or 10 planes currently in hold and 6 lined up waiting to take off.

any reason why? must have something to do with that Ryanair missed approach earlier.

Passing overhead towards Strumble is B733 N175CR. To Bournemouth apparently. Recently converted to freight config and due to Texel air according to planespotters.net https://www.planespotters.net/airframe/Boeing/737/27459/ZK-NGP-Air-New-Zealand

The RYR just did one round of the hold due to a slower fly be which was ahead.

EI847 just had a go-around at ORK, which may have been caused by the heavy rain in Ireland at the moment.

Here in west clare, it has rained continuously and heavily since 18:50 yesterday, so 23hours 20 mins

It was a hydraulic failure, it wouldn't have much of an impact on how the aircraft flew, but depending on which system failed, then taxing and braking might have been an issue,

They really need to be more careful about these things, they're not taken lightly in those countries.

    EI723 gone round at Cork.

Light winds, 10km or More visibility, so probably not weather related.

Yep, EI235 diverted to SNN earlier due to delays, only completed 1 small loop at DUB before diverting.

this had a pressurisation problem no? there were images on twitter of the oxygen masks down but it could have been fake also.

aa plane looks like burning off fuel and diverting to manchester.....

given the fact they have been in the air for so long, wouldnt it have made more sense to go back to frankfurt or even carry on???
