Depay isn'taking much of an impression, not as good as Di Maria even?

Give him time to settle. Depay is coming from a vastly inferior league to the PL. Even Suarez took his time to adapt.

Mata is still the United midfielder to watch for me.

Mata probably the best way into united mid.

It'll take him time surely, but what about Michu, did he not settle early?
Pity Mata was off when penalty occurred?

    Michu came from La Liga

Remember Ferguson was livid with his scouts for not spotting him!

As others have pointed out, Michu came from La Liga, a better league than the PL.

It also depends on the player tbh. I learned my lesson with lads like Kagawa in the past so now I generally take a wait-and-see approach with new signings to the League.

Who are the nailed on defence for arsenal? Mert dropped out of contention?

The Arsenal defence doesn't really seem subject to rotation. Monreal, Koscielny and Bellerin all seem fairly solid right now.

Is Gabriel keeping Mert out of the team? Will this continue?

It's possibly too early to say that, I don't think any of them were even involved in international games. When the champions league is up and running I'd be surprised if Debuchy and Gibbs didn't get a very occasional run out.

Bellerin in particular is still well worth it, very sorry I don't have him this year.

Just saw the Aguero incident now. I'm far from a medical expert but I'd be surprised if that kept him out for long. Looked more like a stinger injury than anything serious.

Cue him being out for 6 months now.

    Wasp???:p

Has there been any official word??

Ade released by Spurs. Such a waste of talent. Could be a real coup for one of the promoted teams to nab him if they could get him to apply himself.

    Sergio Kun Aguero ‏@aguerosergiokun
Thanks everyone for your concern. I got a hard hit and it prevented me from playing more. It doesn't seem to be a serious injury though

Now Aguero will leave us all in limbo, he'll be 50/50 to play the next match and probably miss it!

If he plays the CL game I can see him being benched v West Ham as a precaution. City are under no pressure so needless to risk him if still carrying a knock.

Yes or something like that will happen, either way I'd prefer if it was a cut and dry injury to keep him out for a few weeks, no ill-will against the lad just a selfish fantasy point of view.

Does anyone have double City defence like myself or am I out on my own?:P Doesn't seem to be as popular as I believe it should be :)

I wish, then I'd be far higher in the rank with my defence of Hart Kompany Koscielny Clyne and Shaw :P

I'm actually enjoying it a lot this year (so far)! I'm not doing spectacularly well (current OR ~250k) but then I usually start slowly most years anyway. I think it's just the uncertainty surrounding some of the premium players and their lack of returns kind of throws the cat in amongst the pigeons so to speak. :)

I've the double city defence too, not serving me badly at all :D

With the "big hitters" all failing to produce there is a huge amount of luck in it so far. Our work league is being led by a lad who hasn't finished in the top 10 for the last 4 years. The guy who finished 1st last year and 3rd the year before is now 17th and in a foul humor. Over the season the big hitters will probably come good but the damage is done in a lot of leagues.

Only reason I have the double City defence is cos I got Sagna one week, then as the week went on I thought bolox I should've got Kolarov, so then I just said feck it I'll just get them both for -4. It worked too :D

I don't think luck is the right word. There have still been reliable consistent point sources.

Anyone thinking about West Ham defence (after next week)? Thr question would be who to get. Maybe just plump for Cresswell and play every GW since they have two unexpected cleanies
