Passive funds

I'm looking to invest in passive funds but it is very hard to find useful information, specifically regarding charges and fees. Does anyone have any tips or recommendations?

Read monevator.com , he has a whole section on passive investing. Focused on UK but same principles apply.

Thanks, I am aware of the background stuff. I should have been clearer.

I am looking for available/recommended passive funds and actual changes. I've checked a few broker and bank sites but there is no mention of changes that I can find.

I may also consider ETFs in the future but that is something I don't know much about so I will need to do some reading first.

vanguard.com? Seems you need a US address to register.

You cant buy Vanguard mutual funds as a resident in Ireland.

every ETF listed on yahoo finance has the anual fees listed , you click on profile

I've read up a bit on ETFs and I'm going to go down that route instead. It seems to make more sense as there are no fund charges but you still can track an index.
