A few of houses were broken in to around here on sunday night. They got away with a good bit of stuff from 2 of them, in the 3rd house the house owner took out his gun, said he was very close to pulling the trigger, he is still waiting on guards to come out
A lot of elderly people are living in fear especially in remote locations. I reckon that it is only a matter of time before there is a another shooting incident.

Not sure why lads come back under different guises. If ya say something under a username have the balls to stand over it and don't go changing your username. If he does come back hopefully he will have the guts to use his old username!

    So who where you then?

That's strange! Usually the one way to get guards out straight away is to mention gun. They don't be long coming out and confiscating your gun then after. I was in our local garda station a few years ago before it was closed down and the guard on duty was complaining to me about the amount of gun licences he had on the desk from people in the area and how he was going to deal with them.

Don't you love it when a plan comes together. Had 4 fields just grazed and was waiting for the weather to clear. Managed to lick the rushes in all of them on Monday and yesterday. Got my second cut of silage done too. Two 12 hour days but great feeling to get it all done. Feet up day today. I'm aching all over. Not as young as I was.

Pity he didn't pull the trigger, I think it is going to have to come to that. Scandalous the amount of old people in the country side frightened going to bed at night. I know old people dreading the longer nights because of this!

There's valid reasons why someone would change their username. It's little to do with having balls or guts. It takes no balls or guts to be a mouthy wanker on a website.

I know I for one, had to change my username because of one particular poster. He took offence when I said milk prices had to fall when quotas went - How wrong I was. Ever since that discussion, he'd let rip on every post I made. Serious asshole keyboard warrior.

Well in my case I had to due to a nosey individual in the locality figured out who I was and I didn't want them bringing stuff back to the immediate family as the FIL doesn't trust the Internet and this individual would have stirred **** up for the craic

Never used the W or C worth Whelan about anyone or there family. Slagging is one thing and then there is abusive posting like Genghis ceant there.

Just my opinion but if you dont know people some comments made about their family can be hurtful, any way each to their own. Alot of comments can be taken up the wrong way.

Feck sake. I wonder could ya guess an old poster from new posts. AP would be easily guessed but might be hard enough for most posters.

I never meant to change my user name but I closed up my account never to come here again because I was spending so much time stuck to the screen , then after a few weeks I joined up again . It's a bit of an addiction!
I wouldn't get upset by anyone post crap I don't like to hear !

ye I would often say that poster seems familiar , wouldnt loose any sleep over trying to guess who they are/were. If they were an idiot under a previous user name it normally shows quite quickly under a new one

    +1

happening a lot of this forum unfortunately over the last 2 to 3 years,

easy to talk about balls behind a key board , a lot of top class poster now gone silent or using other sites where sh1t like that is not tolerated
