I have completed the second draft of my novel. I was thinking of getting it critiqued by someone called the Book Nanny. Anyone used her, or heard of her services?

I know all you seasoned writers will cry, get friends to read it, but I am late coming to writing and feel my creative clock is ticking. So I want to know if I am on the right track.

Post a section here for a reaction to the general writing.

I can rip your synopsis apart.

Thanks, but it would be too long as I want to know should I cut descriptions out in that I may be loosing the reader. Should I just get on with the story.

Get on with the story. There should never be long passages of description, or the reader will just skip them. Weave necessary description in with the action.
