Fun fact, the Hungarian word for biscuits is keksz (pronounced cacks) :pac:

....and confusingly for us the word for hello is szia (see-ah) So imagine me being in Budapest saying "Hi" to a girl and her saying szia :D

"Ready to take the battle to the South China Sea? This week only, we're giving all EA Access members a free copy of the Battlefield 4 Naval Strike expansion pack, which adds a new amphibious vehicle and four more multiplayer maps. Just visit the EA Access app on Xbox One before September 3 to claim your gift — and it's yours to keep forever. "

Is EA Access the big difference between the PS4 and XB1 at the moment?

Backwards compatibility is a big difference too.

How exactly does game sharing work ? I've an Xbox one since launch and never bothered looking into this :)

Find a buddy, sign his profile into your console and while signed in as him/her - go to settings>home xbox and make your console his "home" xbox

Do the same for your profile on their console, done!

Obviously you have to trust somebody then seen as they'd have your log in and could buy games using your details ?

Correct. Ideally someone you know in real life, although I've been using it with another boards poster for over a year now.

but yes Emmet and everyone else not doing it, google it and get in on the action asap. Half price games for everyone! :D

Not had all that time with my One since buying it last week but is the 10 hour trial of Battlefield: Hardline still available? Was considering getting it on PC but I'm only interested in the single player and figure if I can play it for free then all the better.

Yeah you should be able to play any of the trials if you haven't used your hours up yet.

But note, for Hardline campaign as it is a short story you're restricted to playing only the prologue & first mission.

Ah that's a shame as from all I had read it seemed as if the entire single player campaign was available. I was a little surprised by it as I figured that I could easily finish it in 10 hours.

I think that's exactly why they only let you do a couple of the first missions in Campaign - rather than letting everyone breeze through it for 'free' on EA Access.

Anyone with BF4 you can now download the new night operations map, a night version of Zavod 311 titled "Graveyard Shift" for free: https://store.xbox.com/en-IE/Xbox-One/DLC/Battlefield-4-Night-Operations/afd71881-e6a9-4e7e-b637-c33fdfcc5bf7

Is the only way to pay for EA access in dollars? Every time I access it the payment method only comes up as dollars

    No?

It's in whatever currency your current market is. I presume you're trying to do it from xbox.com? Sometimes it automatically sets itself to United States so maybe that's what you're seeing. You can change country in the bottom left corner of xbox.com, click on United States and change to Ireland.

Or if you're doing it from your xbox console then it should definitely show in Euro if you have your Settings>System>Language & Location set to English/Ireland.

All set up for Ireland and nothing but dollar showing. Got onto Xbox and they said that I wasn't the only one having the issue.

Can anyone check if the naval expansion pack for bf4 is still free as forgot to get it and don't want to resign up for ea access just yet in case it's not free anymore as busy at the moment.

Having an issue with installing Fifa, had it in the queue, but was getting an error. So then I deleted it from the Queue.

However EA Access is still reading it as queued and i cannot click to install.

Any idea? I tried clearing the cache

"Wish your FIFA Ultimate Team was just a little better? Now's your chance to strengthen your squad, because we're giving EA Access members a free FIFA 15 Ultimate Team Rare Gold Pack, this week only.

All you have to do is log into the EA Access app on Xbox One and claim your pack by September 7. "

Nice deal all the same, what are these packs worth? :)

Never a fan of FUT though.
Am I the only one who plays fifa for the single player these days? :D

Nope, I'm the same. Gonna go with PES this year though. Sick of the exact same career mode every year with fifa

They stay on the hard drive only you no longer have a license to play them so when you boot them it will display a message saying something like 'Do you own this game?' With a link to the Xbox store.
