That eclipse has been around Kildare 6+ years ago.
I think it was Lithuanian or something originally,
Guy has been trying to sell it since then.
Don't even know if it's been VRTd in the meantime.

The current seller's name is Lithuanian too :pac:

If the bonnet nostrils were a bit thinner, you lost the chrome wheels for dark ones, swapped the gaudy chrome backed rear lamps for black backed ones and put the black Love Boat hanging out of the back out back on a diet, you'd actually have a class car.
It's skang for sure, but there's no denying the workmanship. It's definitely no rolling Halfords store. It's also definitely not worth 38k either :D

    At €370, it's priced right

    Obligatory:

    was perfect until today

    Yeah, well, that's a tad irrelevant, isn't it? :D
The lack of information and photos is worrying though. Would it kill the seller to tell us a bit more about this car and to include some pics of interior and engine bay to show us this "immaculate" condition of which he speaks?
As it stands anyone interested in this would have to trudge down there and maybe find the rest of the car is the sh*teheap it looks to be in the pictures.

besides the price, its a terrible advert - one exterior shot of the car, a diagram of the engine - Why on earth would you include that?

also the milage seems to be listed incorrectly - its 109492km on the clock in the pic and 80000 on the listing - unless he had converted it to miles - but that would be only 68035miles - so dunno - price might not be the only reason to avoid

the car isn't even that clean it's just still soaking wet. I hate that 'too many extras to list' stick the vin on http://www.bmwarchive.org/vin/bmw-vin-decoder.html and copy paste all the extras it had from factory....

What if someone is calling via Skype, from abroad, from work, the number might not show then too. It's just paranoid tin foil hat crap. Might as well say "I won't answer any numbers that end in 3"

I don't answer withheld numbers. If I had my way blocking transmission of telephone numbers with calls would be illegal.

Can't always be avoided, Skype calls don't have a number and calls from abroad don't always have a number.
Unless it's that git Baron von Raufensbergen und Donnerblitzen with his prank calls again, asking me if my Gekühlte Eischrank ist weglaufen again. Damn him to hell!

I don't really think he is that much of a dreamer. Believe it or not there are a handful of people in the country who actually like interesting cars. There is very little out there that is comparable to that. For a car like that you'd just have to bide your time and wait for the right buyer.

If it's clean and with a good history, then he should be able to get within a €1k of that. It might just take a while.

One of my favourite stories. Try that with a car ad. "Ring at 12:00 on the dot..."

    edit:
How did you ever survive the 70's? The old Northern Telecom 500's rotary diallers did not have a caller ID display :p
But they could survice a lightning strike and the only thing they ever did was a quick "bing". Try that with a iPhone. And you could REALLY slam those babies, they were indestructible.

Speaking of NT 500's, here's a real dreamer. If he thi nks he'll get that money for something that goes for a fiver on Ebay:
