Computer for Digital Photography

Not sure if this is better suited for here or the PC forum but would anyone have an idea of the specifications that one should be looking for in a laptop that would be suitable for a course such as below?

You should get something pretty decent for that. Two things to think of, 1st when I did my L5 we had to submit work on CD/DVD so check this before you buy one without a cd drive, 2nd Most camera bags I have seen that also have a laptop section only fit up to a 15" so you might want to bear that in mind but on the flip side bigger screens can be nicer to work on.

I would try for something along the lines of mid range i5 processor with 8 gb of RAM, bigger hard drives can be nice but remember you can always add extra storage with an external drive later on.
