When you take something from a shelf in a supermarket and a load of things fall on to the floor because of the way they are packed.

    Were you in Istanbul recently?

    :D

TA - Getting into that weather season where it's not cold enough for a jacket, but not hot enough for no jacket!

    agh!

Somehow being a celebrity allows you to dish out advice as some form of expert. Most notably Jenny McCarthy and her cure for autism. Rosanna Davison and her gluten free nonsense. Especially love this quote from The Irish Times:

"Davison thinks sourdough bread is easier on the digestive system and she “cites research that shows gluten to be the bad guy responsible for a huge range of medical conditions from autism spectrum disorders to schizophrenia to arthritis.”"
    and this beauty:

"Davison, who has completed a three-year course in Naturopathic Nutrition and Human Biochemistry, said: “The difference between me and the ICMSA is that I am not trying to sell anything.”
And she wasn’t trying to sell anything – in May. Arguably she is now. Davison’s book Eat Yourself Beautiful, in which she shares her philosophy of plant-based functional nutrition".

TA'd at people's seeming inability to wash themselves. Few things worse than the stench of BO from some people. Also, one of our cats has reverted to total aggressive bastard mode with the cat he used to bully years ago, so we've had to put him on calming food and calming meds.

Ringing the wrong number and all the confusion that comes with it, and then the fecker wouldn't even agree to repair my car! :pac:

Guess I'll have to continue ringing random numbers until someone agrees, where is the phone book again?

Not knowing whether or not to trust product reviews. We need a new duvet and the best ones we've ever had were feather ones, but that was before we realised the cruelty involved. Anyways, I've been looking at reviews of non feather duvets and I'm confused by the reviews, lots of people give 4/5 star ratings and lots of people give 1/2 star reviews for the EXACT SAME PRODUCT:confused: It's not even one duvet, it's the same with different brands.

That's what Marshall Tito, Saddam Hussein and Colonel Gadaffi said too, and they were right, so carry on with what you're doing...

Waking up to the smell of food. I have zero appetite when I wake up. I don't know what it is I just never feel hungry until an hour later or after a cup of tea, I always feel really icky in the stomach. But I hate waking up from the smell of a fry-up going on downstairs, it circulates the house from there and it distracts me from trying to go back over.

Then I get whoever's doing the cooking shouting up to the bedroom door as if they know I'm awake "David!!! Do you want a tattie scone?!".

Granted, potato scones are gorgeous with a cup of tea but that 5 minutes of waking up and feeling nauseous - a smell of crisp & dry and bacon creeping through the keyhole of my door when I've just woken up does not make me feel any better.

....I should probably contact my GP about that :pac:

Ah, but I don't harass my cats the way they did with their people. Instead of abuse, violence and bullying I use calming food, natural non habit forming happy pills and lots of play.:D

TA'd that RTE are showing an Irish language programme at prime time, it's about as much use and about as relevant to the majority of licence fee payers as the Angeles is.

Its always bugged me that Walkers Cheese & Onion are in a blue bag and their Salt & Vinegar are in a green bag.

Everyone knows blue is for S & V and green (usually) for C & O.

I'm TA'ed that someone would even consider buying inferior foreign crisps no matter what colour the bag is.

Did I sit next to you on the LUAS last night? It was a long day, my deodorant had given up the ghost ... annoying! :o

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

Heard an ad on the radio this morning for a 'silent disco'. In Whelans.

Really TA'ed that my onetime favourite pub would be having a silent disco.
