Oh look, in his rush to get a 'Rainjurs ur deid' comment in, Dempsey once again shows his inability to comprehend a simple post.

You'll note that not only have I suggested that Celtic got a fine player in Scott Allen, y'know..the bit about him being taken out of the equation and all that.. but also that I never said anything about the player that Henderson may or may not develop into.
The key word there was 'today'. You see, where Allen ripped us a new one last season, Henderson found himself missing two real chances, one of which could be described as a sitter.

So yeah, my point again, in simple form, just for you

Allen not playing = Hibs weaker = favour.
Henderson playing poorly = Hibs weaker = favour.

What Zelalem signing on loan for Rangers has to do with any of that, I'm unsure.
    Maybe you can help there?

    Did I touch a nerve?

Zelalem was signed because you missed out on Allan, that is obvious, no??!

I've no qualms about Henderson having a bad game at all. I think days like today against Rangers will be the making of him long term. Certaintly will do better for him than being on the bench for the first team. As I always argued, with anyone, is that experience is king!

Its more the case that you've misunderstood my post because you know I've been consistent on any young player getting first team experience

Henderson has potential, like the Arsenal u19 player you have loan. No, I didnt see his performance today but my point is that over the course of a season, playing, whether it be struggling or performing well, at a senior club will be clearly be of more benefit to him than picking splinters out of his arse on the bench at Celtic.

It should be more beneficial but to be honest unless he starts to capitalise on the chances given him then he may well find himself back on the bench.

Tell you what, I'm not entirely sure where Celtic done us the biggest favour today.
Removing Scott Allen from the equation, or adding Henderson to it! :pac:

Liam Henderson who was head and shoulders above any other player yesterday?? I'd love to see what the result would have been without an ex-season ticket holder refereeing it!!

Why have you let your POTY leave to join your biggest rivals for promotion?

He may have been player of the year but it doesn't say a lot considering the dross we had. He is not comfortable on the ball but he will give 100%. Good luck to the guy.

    Didn't fit in the plans.

And it was mutual, so he probably felt he could get more football somewhere else which is probably true, especially at Hibs who he supports.

I love the spin you put on everything. Comical Ali would be proud.

You'd swear that Rangers weren't trading whilst insolvent.

    Yawn.
Don't you have a referee to companies about this evening? Worry about your own side.

I don't know what's worse the fact that your post makes no sense or that it got 2 likes!

So it is Airdrie v Rangers in the League Cup Round 2

Again a few changes in the line up

LINEUP: Foderingham, Wallace, Kiernan, Ball, Tavernier, Halliday, Zelalem, Shiels, Oduwa, Clark, Waghorn
BENCH: Kelly, Wilson, Holt, Law, Miller, McKay, Hardie.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,704 ✭✭✭Broxi_Bear_Eire

Clark makes it 1-0 to Rangers nice free kick into the box and Clark nips in and puts it away

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

And Halliday makes it 2-0, great goal from outside the box.

    make that 0-3.
Gorgeous pass from Zelalem for that 3rd.

Rangers v St Johnstone in the third round of the League cup. Should be an interesting game and hopefully will give us a good idea how much we are moving in the right direction

Away to QotS today gave us problems last year but with an almost new team this year you cannot compare.

    Team for today

RANGERS: Foderingham, Tavernier, Kiernan, Wilson, Wallace, Halliday, Holt, Zelalem, McKay, Miller, Waghorn.

SUBS: Kelly, Law, Shiels, Ball, Aird, Hardie, Oduwa.

Law drops to the bench Clark out of the squad don't know if he is injured or not.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

QotS holding their own pretty well, 0-1 now by Halliday.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,704 ✭✭✭Broxi_Bear_Eire

QotS down to ten men very soft sending off for lyle

Waghorn puts Rangers two up from the spot

That was so soft it is almost liquid... classic refereeing again from Madden

    Agreed crap Ref

    Madden really is an idiot.

Lyle's red card was not that bad, but then he lets Miller get away with a stamp on Zelalem.

Holt makes it 3, great pass from Zelalem.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

    McKay scores the 4th.
