Hey, I'm sure this has been asked a few times now, but does anyone have any suggestions for a 22 y/o girl to meet new people? I go to St John's and have made a few friends there alright but I don't get to see them that often, I live with my boyfriend but would obviously like to get out and socialise with other people. I don't currently have a job either so I have no co-workers to socialise with outside of work.

    Any suggestions welcome, thanks!

    That precludes me i'm afraid.

Take up some classes - Spanish, art, cookery. Go on Meetup.com and do some excursions - hillwalking etc.

Is there any Societies or clubs in St. Johns?

    Check out Meetup.com

Quite a few Cork groups in that, one good one run by a former very active member here.
I've met lots of people through the group and there's lots of different events going on that should enable you to expand your social circle

    Hi OP,

I run a social group called Meetups in Cork (http://www.meetup.com/Meetups-in-Cork/) and you are more than welcome to join.

The people who attend are mostly 20/30s and our next event is this Friday (a tour around the Franciscan well brewery), previous (and future events) have been BBQ, cinema, dinner, go-karting, bowling, pool etc.
