Prison Break offically revived by FOX.
It’s official – after much discussion, FOX has revived Prison Break for Season 5, with Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell both signed on to reprise their roles.

Prison Break Season 5 will take the form of 10-episode limited series continuation/sequel, with potential for additional seasons down the line.

FOX is looking close to an X-Men series, their working with marvel to sort out some things, but it will consist only of X-Men characters FOX has access to, and wont involve any characters Disney own,

id say the Fantastic 4 will be up next of its in anyway a success, the two shows could interact easily enough,

maybe Sony will make a spiderman series now, seeing as everyone else is bleeding their marvel characters for every drop of cash they can,

    iirc we never
    actually saw him die

Now the big question remains what that means for
Michael Scofield (Miller), who died in the direct-to-video follow-up The Final Break. Though fellow Fox Chairman and CEO Newman initially said writer and original series creator Paul Scheuring would ignore the events of The Final Break, Walden backtracked. “I don’t think he’s going to completely ignore what happened in that episode
, but what he pitched to us was a very logical and believable explanation in the world of Prison Break for why are character’s alive and still moving around the world.”

Great news, really enjoyed the first season. I assume they couldn't resist holding back the news until today (which is the day of the Sense8's birthdays).

    The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Reboot Reportedly in Development.
Another day, another announcement of a classic '90s sitcom getting rebooted. When will this craze end?!
The beloved show getting rebooted, for better or for worse, this time? The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Seriously. Is nothing sacred?
TVLine reports The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air's original star Will Smith is leading the talks to reboot the show...but this time, he'll be behind the camera as a producer. His production company, Overbrook Entertainment, is in the early stages of developing a present-day version of the sitcom. Plot and character details are still being discussed, but the new reboot will reportedly put a new spin on the fish-out-of-water tale while maintaining the spirit of the original series which ran for six seasons on NBC, before ending in 1996.

    Training Day

Training Day TV Series Lands at CBS with Pilot Production Commitment
CBS is producing a pilot based on the 2001 movie “Training Day,” in which Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke starred, Variety has learned.

The television adaptation is set in the LAPD of 2015, with the series picking up 15 years after the events of the Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures film.

The original “Training Day” movie director Antoine Fuqua is behind the television series, attached as director and exec producer.

Fuqua is teaming with Jerry Bruckheimer who will exec produce, alongside Jonathan Littman (“CSI” franchise, “The Amazing Race”). Will Beall (“Gangster Squad,” “Castle”), a former LAPD detective, will pen the pilot, also serving as an exec producer.

“Training Day” followed a rookie cop (played by Hawke) who was paired with a rogue detective (Washington) on his first day on the job as a Los Angeles narcotics officer. The crime thriller pic earned Washington the Academy Award for best actor.

The television project hails from Jerry Bruckheimer Television, Fuqua Films and Warner Bros. TV for CBS.

So not one of those 3 shows is original - reboots and TV versions of films. How would 'Training Day' even work as a concept - you can't have them be training each day. Just make a new season of 'Southland' instead.

I'd say it will play out over a short period ala 24

    ALF

    Maybe the next reboot.
Greenblatt was asked about the increasing number of reboots of old shows — NBC has Heroes limited series and Coach follow-up series coming up. When a critic said many perceived the news of a Coach revamp as a practical joke, Greenblatt quipped, “One man’s practical joke is another man’s hit show.

“It’s not a direct kind of reboot,” he said about the new Coach, with original creator Barry Kemp. It’s a picking up and it’s an extended family and Hayden is a grandfather, and a father-and-son story. So it’s a way to do another variation on a family show with, I think, a truly talented star and a great showrunner and a presold title. And if that works, then ALF: The Series is next.”

I only started watching recently and starting Season 5 now under the assumption the second half of season 5 would be the end.

At least they have a return date of October 8th which I don't think we've had before
