So you wouldn't mind if your mum got one?
I just can't get past the styling.

I pray every night that someday she sees sense and gets out of the Italian Scene and brings home one of these........

Which is mad because can't you take the value of the car instead on shows like that?

The "value" is only ever about half the retail. I'd say it's close to what a dealer pays for the car so deduct vat, vrt, profit.
Brother won a car and took the cash instead, family just not into new cars for the sake of it!

So this clown could have flogged it with delivery mileage for 75% of list price and made a few bob. Been farting about in it now for a while and wants full price lolz!

    "High spec, Japanese import"...

It's actually the lowest spec available and a UK car and st202's aren't even making that kind of money.

and this chap, €1200 for a write off! There are decent condition, tested models for the same money.

One of the extras of the first one is "adjustable seats". Wow, what a time to be alive.

The other one, he doesn't mention write off, doesn't he? Cheeky. (Edit, I wrong that read, never mind)

Not a write off in that it's been in an accident, i just think €1200 for a 15 year old, badly skangerised celica with no engine is a bit steep when you can easily buy a clean, driving, tested, unabused one for similar money :P

That eclipse has been around Kildare 6+ years ago.
I think it was Lithuanian or something originally,
Guy has been trying to sell it since then.
Don't even know if it's been VRTd in the meantime.

If the bonnet nostrils were a bit thinner, you lost the chrome wheels for dark ones, swapped the gaudy chrome backed rear lamps for black backed ones and put the black Love Boat hanging out of the back out back on a diet, you'd actually have a class car.
It's skang for sure, but there's no denying the workmanship. It's definitely no rolling Halfords store. It's also definitely not worth 38k either :D

    At €370, it's priced right

    Obligatory:

    was perfect until today

    Yeah, well, that's a tad irrelevant, isn't it? :D
The lack of information and photos is worrying though. Would it kill the seller to tell us a bit more about this car and to include some pics of interior and engine bay to show us this "immaculate" condition of which he speaks?
As it stands anyone interested in this would have to trudge down there and maybe find the rest of the car is the sh*teheap it looks to be in the pictures.

besides the price, its a terrible advert - one exterior shot of the car, a diagram of the engine - Why on earth would you include that?

also the milage seems to be listed incorrectly - its 109492km on the clock in the pic and 80000 on the listing - unless he had converted it to miles - but that would be only 68035miles - so dunno - price might not be the only reason to avoid
