Windsurf parts - Looking for parts to connect board to sail

Just purchased my first windsurf. Its missing the parts to connect the board to the mast.

What exactly do I need and where do I get it?

There's lots of info on the web but I can't be sure, here's the basic information I've found http://www.windsurfquest.net/blogs.php?blogid=9

It's a Bic 340 (see attached). I have 2 sails, one of which requires and extension as it's taller than the other.

I think I need the base and a universal joint (UJ), and an extensi

on.

Are all parts universal or are there particular fittings for particular brands.

You need a deckplate.

Usually one of these guys sits on the deckplate:

And the mast extension sits on that.

This gear has been fairly universal for the last 10-15 years but that board would pre-date that so you need to see can you get the deckplate to fit it. Once you have that the rest of the gear should be straightforward.

Surfdock sorted me with the 2 parts
universal mast base deckplate

I would say once you getting the hang of it start looking for newer gear, there is plenty of it available second hand for relatively cheap. In particular the newer boards and sails (less than 10 years) are much easier to learn and progress on.
