Anyone else find it very weird that Spurs play Real tonight in Munich even though they are away to united early on Saturday? I guess they have been committed to play that match for awhile but even still it seems a bit crazy.

United to start well with a comfortable win on Saturday all things considered?

It is only Tuesday, so today they probably play a strong 11 and tomorrow sent out the clowns reserves.

They ll be fine on Saturday

It does feel very close to kick off. I was surprised. Not ideal preparation

Otherwise they would have had training sessions.

Now if they play their starting 11 tomorrow, that is something else.

In other news, start of the Eredvisie will be ****ed up this weekend.
Police on strike, 3 matches already off. (Home matches of Heerenveen, Zwolle and ADO)
Only one that will go ahead for sure is Feyenoord - Utrecht on saturday evening.

Gone for Ivanovic to be booked @3.05 on Betfair

Think it's a decent price. Sent off the last time he played in a Charity shield match. Fancy that Arsenal forward line to pull a card out of him.

No good. Thought it was sorted in the first half when he came in on the back of Cazorla's ankles and gave away a free.. ref didn't pull a card till well into the second half though.

I had been eyeing up Madrid corners in their last game out against AC Milan but unfortunately I didnt bite. They ended up with 9 corners in that game, a similar amount to their usual tallies. So tonight Im not gonna miss out and go for:

Real Madrid over 6 corners @11/10 with PP.

small bet on under 2.5 in Monaco vs Young boys @ 1.87

Monaco are one of the best away teams in Europe but they struggle to score at home

4-0.. you'd never see a Ligue 1 team concede 4 goals in Monaco

Could someone explain to me the "Top Goalscorer Handicap" bet with Paddy Power? Aguero +0 goals is 13/2. Isn't that just the same as a regular Aguero top scorer bet, which is priced at 3/1? What am I missing?

No, you must include all other available options.
    Eg Kane + 3 v Aguero + 0 v Rooney + 5

    Kane scores 18
    Aguero scores 20
    Rooney scores 14

    Kane wins 21 v 20 v 19

West Ham has only 2 players you could consider first team material with them (Jenkinson, cant play against Arsenal this weekend, Manuel Lanzini) and sub Modibo Maiga. Rest of the squad is youth.

Taken Astra to score 2 or more @2.4 on PP

Jenkinson will play, Nolan will also play, Maiga in attack, at the gate of Randolph good goalkeeper, Reid, Ogbonna in the centre of defence, rookie Lanzini attacking midfielder, started at river Plate. midfielder Amalfitano, Poyet. Plus the young reservists who are motivated by a new coach to get into the main clip. So it is not all clear. Bilic at the press conference said he wants to win

Lads, for the Arsenal v West ham game on the weekend the asian goal line is set to a very nice 3.0 so the bookies are banking on a few goals possibly going in.

I know West Ham have been terrible in the Europa league but will they really ship more than 3 goals to Arsenal on the first day? to my mind the fact that the season is starting earlier this year means even less fitness and sharpness than usual on the first day. From Infor and Mr green's post before this West Ham are holding a lot of the starting XI back from the europa tonight too in order to be fresh for the weekend.

I'm tempted to go under 3.0 goal line @1.950, with the addition of cech in goals the chances of Arsenal letting one in are even slimmer than before. I think worst case scenario it's a refund.

Under 2.5 goals in Chelsea v Swansea looks decent too. Costa most likely not fit to start so Falcao and Remy are the probable options up front.

    Any thoughts?

under 2.5 in Trabzonspor vs Rabotnicki @ 1.80

The Macedonians won the first leg 1-0 and will surely park the bus in Turkey. I watched parts of Trabzonspor's games vs Luxembourg amateurs in the previous round and wasn't impressed at all, Turkish football is a big joke anyway, all this money spent on star players and yet they get terrible results in Europe.

all over Aberdeen tonight at 2.1

2-1 down from the first leg in Kazakhstan, they conceded 2 early screamers and did well to claw their way back into the game and get an away goal. Manager is confident about tonight and 20k+ expected for the match, can see them raring to go.

I'm a Chelsea fan for more then 10 years.
As I remember, Chelsea is always strongly championship begins.
And what was in friendly games is not an indicator.

Cheers Mr Green, Chelsea are definitely good starters (Southampton the worst from something I read a few days back)

Those Swansea results from last year do put me off the unders, also I remember Chelsea smashed Burnley first game in 1-3 last year. Burnley were coming at them though as they were at home. I'm pretty sure it was just 2-0 on opening day at Stamford Bridge the year before but will have to look it up. Either way I might just leave it at unders in the Arsenal game for a bet.
