Any money in the bank? I think you will have problems having to play 2 of Mahrez, Fletcher and Wilson each week.

De Gea is a transfer waiting to happen as he looks to be off to Madrid.

Personally I'd go for a City or Liverpool mid ahead of Depay. You have Rooney so might be worth spreading your attacking options about.

    Might switch DDG to Cech.

Only first three game weeks. Will wild card gw4. Try and bring in Aguero and Sterling. I usually play 3 4 3 so Fletcher will be on teh bench, but if someone is injured he will get a run out.

Sorry, just seen 2m available - definitely agree with benimar, go Depay->Sterling to get in City coverage and maybe Mahrez to Milner/Henderson?

Can't help looking at that front 7 without thinking there's too much uncertainty about 4/5 of them. Mahrez - is a gamble as you say.
Depay - might be awesome but hasn't shown if he can perform in the premier league yet.
Ramsey - didn't replicate his 13/14 form after coming back into the team last term, but may do well.
Wilson - new to Premier League.
Kane - difficult to have another season like last one.

2/3 of them may get into my team yet, but I think that many questions would be too many for me.

    Cash in the bank?

    You make good points.

Remember it is only four 3 game weeks.

Wilson will be transferred after his first match to Sakho (west ham)

Ramsey or Cazola that is the question.

Depay, the dutch usually do well in England. Could be lethal with Rooney. Has better pace than Mata. Depay or Mat that is the next question?

Kane - I think he is England's future. Maybe he wont be as good as last year but I think he will. I do not think he is a flash in the pan.

Mahrez - who instead of him?

Good input again but I think City and Liverpool have three very difficult opening games. But I will bear it in mind.

Having some real trouble on trying to decide if i should go hazard-less or not.

Both teams I will be playing a 3-4-3 with Schmeichel and Butland rotating in goals.

    Hazard Team

Jagielka, Clyne, O'Shea (Steven Taylor and Senderos)
    Sterling, DePay, Hazard, Ki (Wanyama)
    Kane, Rooney, Benteke

    HazardLess

Bassong, Clyne, O'Shea (Steven Taylor and Senderos)
    Sterling, DePay, Walcott, Fabregas (Wanyama)
    Kane, Rooney, Benteke

I just don't really trust Ki to be honest. Also in the Hazardless team I don't know if walcott or Santi is a better bet.

    Anyone?

There is a lot invested in goalkeeper/defence. I'd look to free up some funds from there and reinvest it in your attack - an upgrade on Defoe, for one. I don't have prices to hand, but you might also be able to upgrade one of your 7.0 midfielders to an 8.5 - i.e. a Ramsay/Ozil to your Henderson/Siggy.

    Anyone?

Change Guzan to Ruddy if you have Mignolet. LIV and NOR have fantastic rotation early on.

Bertrand will miss the opening game at least.

    Walcott Richie Hazard Sterling Bentaleb

    Why the Bentaleb love Swiper?

Probably as nailed on as as spurs midfielder to start but for every assist he gets he'll probably pick up a yellow card to neutralises the points gained.

Are there not better (albeit riskier options in that price bracket)

That defence will kill you. Taylor and Senderos won't play and O'Shea isn't nailed on. Take money out of your forward line and upgrade at least 2 defenders.
No way would I have Ki as a 4th mid, so Kane or Benteke have to go for a 5.5 or 6m option.

Some tweaks for my 2nd draft. Have been on holidays so hope to start giving some feedback myself.
    Ruddy Butland
PVA cedric tomkins ( gomez huth)
    Hazard milner walcott ramsey ritchie
rooney lukaku (deeney) 1 mil in bank.
The team is picked with the first 8 weeks in mind
    GK's great fixtures first 8

Defs again only need to play 3 and bar gw 6 the fixtures are very good. Im taking the chance on gomez I think he will start sunday and should be great value if he holds his place. In the first 7 liverpool have bour, wham , villa, nor all at home and I think they are being overlooked for defensive rotation. Mig is a great pick IMO.

Mids I expect big things from arsenal and apart from city I think they are the most likely team to score goals. Im more than happy to go with 2 of their mids.
Milner is great value although Ill probably be getting benteke for gw 2 so cant see myself keeping 2 liverpool attacking players apart from gw 2.
Ritchie and deeney I plan to rotate for the first 8 weeks and hopefully play my 253 chip before wildcard.

Fwds Rooney Im not too sure on I can see mata being my utd coverage once aguero is in my team.
Lukaku is in for gw1 will probably switch to benteke for gw2.

    Schmeichel (Fabianski)....rotate perfectly

Azpi, Mertesacker, Bassong (Gomez, Williams)....very strong defence for me, usually I go with a bargain ones, but the lack of dead cert options up front and going without Hazard at first gives me this.

Depay, Sterling, Walcott, Fabregas (Sinclair)....gives me good coverage across the top 4.

Rooney, Benteke, Wilson.....I dont trust Costa's fitness, nor do I think Kane will reproduce last season's form (also I think Spurs need to sign a fair few players if they are to have any ambition of top 6), so it's almost process of elimination. I had Rickie Lambert instead of Wilson, but the saving of 0.5m allowed me to upgrade to Fabianski in goal. Wilson and Sinclair will rotate on the basis of fixtures, even thought theri HvA is terrible.

    Thoughts??

Rather then reply to a dozen posted teams.

Kos (6m) vs. Mertz (5.5) vs. Bellerin (5.5)

    Discuss.

For me it's Bellerin all the way. Much more likely to pick up attacking points. Am I missing something on the others.

I've gone for Mert because I think Debuchy has a fair chance of playing a good few games if not taking Bellerin's place. Mert seems safer to me and more of a goal threat, plus I think bonus points are supposed to favour centre backs more so this year (could be wrong on that).

Kos should outscore Bellerin but not enough to warrant 0.5 imo.

Bellerin should get a few assists but I'd expect Kos to get more goals.

Although if Walcott takes Giroud's place I will definitely wildcard Kos in. He will be their only target from corners with no Giroud.

    Mertesacker doesn't really offer anything....

The only problem with Bellerin is Debuchy. Have him myself but can see Debuchy getting some starts.

The cold hand of Debuchy hangs over Bellerin

I think Bellerin played the last few pre-season games? Surely a good sign?

    I think he's fairly safe.
The fact that Wenger trusted to play him against Hazard is a very good sign.

debuchy didn't feature at all in the charity shield. So I'd say bellerin will be safe for the first few games at least

Redmond! Nice looking team by the way! Though i'd favour O Shea over Kaboul slightly!

I have Bellerin and I'm an Arsenal supporter. I don't expect him to start every match (Debuchy will the get the odd league) but that should be more of an issue second half of the season. Gabriel and Chambers are also a threat to Kos and Mert anyway. Bellerin is the best for attacking returns, Kos for baps and goals.

Downgrade Butland to a 4.0. Courtois will start every game so save yourself 0.5 there immediately.

I don't think Mariappa is a guaranteed starter. Maybe use that spare 0.5 to upgrade to someone like Francis of Bournemouth who has some nice fixtures for the first 5/6 GWs. Targett will only be a placeholder while Bertrand is out, and by all accounts Berty won't be out for too long. Maybe one or two games only.

Ramsey may be a rotation risk given Arsenal have so many options in midfield. Otherwise the midfield and forward line look ok. :)

Edit: I see you already have more than enough Bournemouth coverage, so disregard Francis. It's tough to pick a guaranteed starting defender in the 4-4.5 category. O'Shea isn't nailed on, or Gomez of Liverpool. Though that would leave you doubled up there again with Clyne.

Edit: An option maybe would be to downgrade Courtois to a 5.0 keeper (eg. Stekelenburg who has some handy opening fixtures) thereby opening up some more funds to upgrade a defender or two.

Might be worth looking at downgrading Shaw and/or Mert to ensure you have 11 players as your bench might not play and there's a target on Targetts spot.
Very strong besides, and if planning an early WC, you will prob field 11 for 2 weeks.

Defense needs sorting. Taylor and Targett won't be playing after collocini and bertrand are back and Baker won't play full stop. Too much money spent in midfield so you need to downgrade someone to upgrade a few others. Perhaps henderson to ritchie allowing taylor and baker to be upgrade to 2 x playing 4.5 defs of your choice such as bassong and cameron who rotate excellently.

    Cech

    Shaw
    Gomez
    Huth

    ----Hazard----Depay----Mane----Walcott---Maharez

    Rooney
    Lukaku

    Hennessy, Taylor, Coates, Wilson

This is my thoughts i am looking really towards the first four or five weeks before wildcarding Aguero in.

    Goalkeeprs
I was between Courtious and Cech but i think Cech has the easier start and Hennessy is a back up.

    Defenders
I think i may be taking too many risks here to be honest. Shaw will be my first choice with the others rotating.
Gomez is a punt with rumours he might start to get into Liverpool's defence for 4.5 i think is worth a risk early on.
I like Leicester and Sunderlands starting fixtures and think both sides have cautious managers. Taylor again is a punt hoping to get a 4.0 defender who starts.

Overall im being risky because Gomez and Taylor may not start so i could be left with three starters which would be a disaster.

    Midfielders
Despite their tough start Hazard is probably still a must have. Depay is a bit of a punt but he is a tank and i think he will start well. I like Southampton's start and Mane scored very high last season. I was between Maharez or Wilson for my cheap midfielder but going my his pre season i went with Maharez. Walcott could be a point scoring machine but again is not a regular so i am looking at moving towards Ozil.

    Strikers
Rooney is United's top striker and he should score lots of goals. Lukaku has an easy first game and i will be taking him out after it and upgrading to Kane. Then Wilson is my gamble with Bournemouth having a nice start.

    Overall thoughts
Well with Gomez, Taylor and Walcott i 3 players who may not start the first game which would be a disaster.

Is Lukaku worth the risk for one week before upgrading to Kane probably not.

I like Leicester and Bournmouth's starts would a Ritchie/Ulloa combination be more effective.
