Hi guys hope someone can help me here, I have a tv with a dvd connected and a sky + box, I recently took out everything from our sitting room because I was redecorating I labelled all the cables on the DVD and sky box before disconnecting, but now I have all connected up again for some reason when I turn on the tv only a black screen appears and I have to press the tv/Dvd button on the remote for the DVD and then I get a picture, I used never have to do this, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You might not have the SCART cable plugged in properly, or might have damaged a pin. (Pin no. 8 takes care of this function, if I'm not mistaken.)

    I have a related question...

I am living in the Netherlands and I recently bought an LG flatscreen telly. I made sure to get one that supported DVB-S2, DVB-T2 and DVB-C, to future proof myself as much as possible.

Anyway, my plan was to pick up the Dutch channels from DVB-C and to pick up the British channels from satellite via Astra 28 east.

So far, so good, or so I thought. It appears that I can't combine the cable and satellite channels into the one channel list. If I want to switch between Dutch TV and BBC, then I have to go deep into settings menu and change the reception mode from Cable to Satellite.

It all seems a bit unnecessarily cumbersome. Anybody come up with a workaround?
