Old radio repair

    Hi.
    Does anyone know of anyone in the city or surrounds who would repair a Pilot radio. (Wooden frame job, c. 50 years old. )

    It would be a bit more than a repair job if it is a valve based radio as many of the components (capacitors/resistors) would be way outside of tolerance if not completely failed at this stage. Not sure of anyone still doing this kind of work but it might be worth getting a quote first. There are a few people on the Ham/Hobby Radio ( http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=922 )forum on Boards who might know some people doing this kind of work.
