    I have heard of people buying kit bikes online but I'm not sure what manufacturer. One place I have been looking is the following;

    http://shop.rycamotors.com/

    My main reason for looking at these is;
    1. I like the design
    2. I really want to have a new bike
    3. The prices seem reasonable

    Has anyone here had experience with Kit bikes?
    What would be a reliable manufacturer?
    Is the price worth the pain?

    Would love to hear others experiences.

    They are only bolt on parts not a complete bike, you still need one of the motorcycles listed as a donor to supply an engine.
    Most of the bikes listed are US models as well,not EU models and if they are here are likely to be rare like the XS400/500 and the LS650 savage= not cheap.

    I had a Triumph Hinckley bobber similar to this...

    Bought the frame etc., from http://fenlandchoppers.co.uk/, cost about 3000 euros to build excluding the donor bike.

    ^^Looks nice. Are there any kit manufacturers that supply a complete kit so as that a donor bike isn't required?
