The only thing I saw floating around about him was that he was doing that fetish wrestling thing that Seth Rollins was also doing. I don't know if that had anything to do with it?

Anyone have trouble watching the network on an Amazon Fire TV? I had one that worked ok in Dublin and also after I moved home to the north. We switched broadband providers and its not really working. I can browse all the programmes etc but when I try to play, once the parental guidance thing goes off the screen, the video never loads.

I have used the Amazon instant video on the same box and it works fine, although one other streaming app seems to behave the same.

Been a while since they uploaded archive material. I had been looking forward tocontinuing the 1997 Raws. I'm guessing they won't add new content until Sept after August likely being a paid month, or is anyone aware of new additions down the pipeline?

Decided to watch the IC title match from backlash 2004 between randy Orton and cactus jack and I'd forgotten how nasty this match was. There were some sick spots in this match and poor Randy getting dropped on those thumbtacks. But this was his moment where he solidified himself as one for the future.

Watching the stuff from 1999 from survivor series onwards and watching the weekly smackdowns which are up. Jesus smackdown had world title matches and everything and having watched Armageddon the Vince HHH feud was fierce intense and Vinces character was very blunt. I mean test uses the word prick which I for some reason I found shocking.

Watch the HHH vs. Vince match at Armageddon. The spot where HHH hits Vince with the heavy machine gun is epic.

I also get this indescribable, euphoric feeling when HHH interrupts Test and Steph's wedding.

HHH's heel run in '99 was awesome, I honestly thought Jim Ross was shooting on HHH when Ross was bashing HHH's behaviour during the Summer of '99.

If anyone's into revisiting clip-show home videos, WWE Network have put up the Top 100 Moments in RAW History and Greatest Stars of the 80s/90s on the Network.

I'm just watching the wedding now. And test came out to his theme music 😁 brilliant. Also shawn stasiak can say at least he main evented raw once.

Jesus HHH is a some bastard during the wedding. Haha

It almost turned him face because Test was boring as f**k and the Steph/Test storyline dragged on from the Summer; it was a Vince Russo story but he left for WCW without resolving it.

Looking back on it with adult eyes though, a man abducts an inebriated woman and has his way with her. No way would that fly today even if they weren't TVPG.

I'm really enjoying watching all of In Your House PPV's. They are only 2 hours long and that you discover hidden gems along the way.

Also it is quite cool to see the shift from corny cheesy new generation era to attitude era.

Was watching a random Raw from 1998. Taker and Paul Bearer abducted Austin from the hospital and were going to embalm him alive until Kane turned up. The Rock was the corporate champion and Shawn Michaels was appointed the Commissioner. Fun times, JR losing his mind on commentary about what they were doing to Austin.

Five eps of Raw between May and June 1997 have been uploaded. The excellent Steve Austin/Shawn Michaels vs Owen Hart/Davey Boy match is on there now as is the Mankind "shoot" interview with Jim Ross.

Why did they skip March and April

My stock answer to this type,of question is "they haven't a clue what they're doing". At the rate they're going the 2011 episodes of Raw won't appear until about 2020. Who knows what the business will be like by then.

UFC will be after overtaking pro wrestling in popularity. Cena will be a general manager type then

UFC have already blown wrestling out of the water in terms of overall gate and PPV revenues. WWE have more Network subs vs Fight Pass but Fight Pass is a supplement to their PPV business. WWE destroyed their PPV business and not just by moving to a streaming option -- buy-rates had been falling for years.

Dunno what's worse about dubbing in new music...the replacement music, or the Smackdown fan noise.

I don't mind the music dubs in general but I really hate the loss of the SummerLand 98 Highway to He'll promo video.

It was cut from the VHS release and thus never made it to DVD nor the Network. There is a low quality VHS rip on YouTube though.

I have the Tagged Classics DVDs for pre-Anthology stuff from the 80s.

I specifically looked up that RAW for the SummerFest video and I was so disappointed it was completely gone. Seemlessly as well.

I was just watching The Tower Of Doom match from The Great American Bash 1988. Crazy stuff.

I'm going off a 17yr memory here but I think the go-home Raw ended with a fire lighting up the rampway with Austin backing off from Kane and Taker in the ring - "ARE THEY IN CAHOOTS KING??!!!" - and then they cut to the Highway to Hell video package. Legit greatest go-home sell for a PPV during that boom period.

I would pay money to see it again in the highest quality. (The match itself sucked but Austin v Taker matches were always poor).

I think this was taken from the Shotgun weekend recap show (which also had b-show matches shot during the Raw taping)

I owe that pay per view buildup for getting me into AC/DC. It was a great full-circle moment for me when I finally saw them perform the song live 11 years later. I remember that go-home episode of Raw too, the way it ended. SummerSlam had such a long build in 1998. Is anyone going to watch Tough Talk tonight? I've been really enjoying Tough Enough so far. There's been some good moments, and the after-show kind of ties it all together for me.

Seeing as taker and lesnar are fighting at summer slam I'm watching the hell in a cell from no mercy 2002. Jesus.

    New Raw episodes

    Episode 209 - 05/12/1997
    Episode 230 - 10/20/1997

    Also added:

    April 28 1997
    May 5 1997

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,216 ✭✭✭Ageyev

Several more Raws have been added. They're about two dozen shy of a full 1997. The Summer 97 Raws had some very hot crowds for theHart FoundationAustn feud where they went to Canada one week and the US the next.

Match highlights include Austin/HBK vs Owen Bulldog and the six man flag match.

So with this Hulk Hogan BS going on, are we going to see Hogan content taken off the network? Rock n Wrestling seems to be missing on mine...

Noticed that. Tyson, Austin and Benoit plus others are still on there. Hogan was involved in the main events of the first nine Wrestlemania. Can't see them deleting him from the network tbh. Too much editing work if nothing else

Yup Nitro would be decimated! Knee jerk reaction I think.

The WWE app on android has the WWE Network. I'm finding the stream quality to be poor despite having fast internet. Any ideas?
