New nursing home in Tramore

    The construction work at the new nursing home at Newtown, Tramore - on the Ring Road, opposite the Golf Club - seems to have ground to a halt. Does anyone know what has happened to cause this? Surely, it's a bit early in the season for "builders holidays". I sincerely hope we're not looking at yet another abandoned white elephant

    I heard a rumour that the developed went bust. Given the shell that was left in front of little stars for a decade and counting, we might be looking at this for years to come if the project does not get back on track. There used to be a shell of a house at the top of Newtown Hill for 10-15 years where the round-about at busykids.
