He is also obsessed with the crowd reaction. Kept walking around saying 'I got a good reaction' when Harry was leaving, then would catch himself or get no hop. He then walked past the board and said 'It's up to 102 now', when everyone was getting to grips with her going.
He wants the public to like him so much that might explain his hero worship of Danny and 'Coco' and his banter with Sydney . He thinks the public want that and is not as astute as the others to know when it's too much lick arsing.

I think a lot of it is due to insecurity & relief. He got cocky early on & then got smacked down when realised the public were against him. Nicky's antics about his fans & recently Chloe ' constant undermining of him have really affected him. At this stage I do believe that he is just happy to have made it to the end & doesn't think he has any chance of winning. He is clearly worried about the reaction he is going to get though. He's very young & all those emotions are to be expected. I'd be happy enough if he won it to be honest.

I just watched it there myself ......... she kept her mouth well and truly shut ......... until it became obvious she was going ......... then, and only then, did she turn back into Miss People Pleaser.

If they had been debating Chloe as a possibility to go then Sam & Jack would have said nothing .......... if the discussion had been about Jack possibly going then Sam & Chloe would have said nothing .......... but the discussion was leaning towards Sam going so ............ Jack & Chloe said nothing! :)

It all happened in a matter of seconds so she didn't really keep her mouth well and truly shut, as you say, for very long. She said all the statements about picking her fairly quickly. They only had 30 seconds to choose anyway. You put in several "what if" scenarios. I'm only giving my viewpoint on what actually did occur.

Joel says "I won't take part in a Killer Eviction".

Chloe says "Guys you have to do what you have to do". (First potential Evictee to speak)

Joel says "I do not want Chloe to leave".

Danny says "From Day One, I've been closest to Chloe and Jack".

Cristian says "I've been closest to Chloe".

Joel stands up to announce the decision while the debate continues saying "I'll go with the majority decision".

Cristian says "I've always been closer to Chloe and Jack".

Joel says "I will not make the final decision, I'll go with Cristian, Danny and ......."

It's at this point that Sam speaks for the first time, just before Joel announces the final/majority decision which is obviously Sam at the this stage .......... she finally says "Guys go with me, it's 15k ..........."

Hardly the Hero Martyr jumping on the Bomb ............ she was already sitting on the Bomb (placed there by the other HM's) and she knew well it was about to go off.

What people do in this last week is going to have a tremendous effect on their "Vote to Win" votes - for better or for worse.

While I would like to see Jack win, that dressing gown is going to detract from his votes. If he's going to be a Winner, then he has to start to look like a winner. Sitting in the DR in that dressing gown is not going to give that impression.

Nick's still running his hand through his hair and nose-picking does not make him look like a winner. The hair even looks greasy!

Joel has lost - BIG TIME - over refusing to take part in the nomination-to-evict incident. He may have thought the public would think him a hero for that stance, but it has backfired on him.

That then leaves in the top:
    • Danny
    • Christian
    • Chloe

I hope Chloe will be evicted, next count - anyway, she does not have any "winning" attributes - so will be out.

Much as I don't like to say it, the Final rests with Danny and Christian. As Danny is a bit controversial at times, Christian could be the winner.

Agree or disagree? YOU DECIDE! lol! :p;)

    I've decided ........... I disagree!!! :)

I don't think Joel abstained from the Vote for any reason except other than the fact he said, from Day One, he would never take part in a "Killer Eviction" .......... he has, in my opinion, never done/said anything for the benefit of how the public would view his actions/comments ............ I don't think his abstaining from the Vote did him any good or harm regarding his popularity outside of the House.

He's still in there with a chance of winning alongside Jack .......... and maybe Nick too!

Gosh I totally disagree eyepatch with some of your points.

Agree about Jack and dressing gown, but then by that logic Joel looked very much a winner in his smart suit and designer white shirt. I dont think Joel looked bad in that scenario, I think he came across as more humane and Danny knows this, hence his anger. Also Joel provided me with much needed laughter when he knew all the words to an Abba song. He's got a great voice and a good sense of fun.

Christian has shown a rather nasty side towards Sam and he's also Dannys lapdog.

Chloe is a fake of the highest order and is playing a very good game, but the cracks are showing.

Nick is spineless but very likable.

Jack has low self esteem which the others use against him and he constantly has to reassure himself, a good guy nonetheless.

Danny is a fame hungry wannabe with very limited intelligence, he'd sell his own mother for a big role on tv.

So my top 6 in order, baring in mind I've changed my mind on the winner after last night is as follows

    1. Joel
    2. Jack
    3. Nick
    4. Christian
    5. Chloe
    6. Danny

    Thats my tuppence worth anyway.

I do agree with the point you make about Joel's attire, and I must admit I had noticed how snazzy he looked in that outfit.

Who's going to win, is really anyone's guess ATM.

My fave still is Jack, but sadly, it's beginning to look fairly bleak re his chances.

I doubt Danny will be at the bottom, as he does seem to have quite a Brit following, as witnessed in BOTS.

Yeah I don't think he is nasty, he wears his heart on his sleeve, but I don't agree he doesn't think he has a chance of winning. As he said himself he has survived 3 evictions, you can see the effect this and the crowd reaction has on his head, the cockiness is slowly creeping back, he is pulling everything out of the bag. Peoples opinion of him changed when he thought he had it in the bag, he went from liked to disliked, now back to liked again.

That's pretty much how I see it, so I'd like to add another tuppence to your pot.
I could live with the top 3 being in any order as long as they are the last 3 there. Probably edging towards Jack as things currently stand. Christian coming 4th would be a fair reflection of his mediocrity, but probably a nice enough guy. I do want Chloe to come last though & have her leaving & interview being an irrelevance & an annoyance as we wait for the real action of the night to take place. Cheerio Chloe (forever).

Wow, Chloe's Instagram photos! She's chosen to portray the average girl-next-door image on BB.
But her Instagram shows a different story. Clever but sly, hope she's gone next.

Loads of pictures of Connemara, her mothers from Galway I think she said to Marc. Seriously flash lifestyle for an office admin.

God that made me feel sick to hear them big him up and him sitting there trying to hide how much he was thrilled by it.

See, I don't think he was thrilled by it at all. It was actually making him look like the bad guy, not the 'hero'. The others were making out as if he was the only one to make the decision to evict Sam, which looks cutthroat, not manly. He was stung earlier on in the week when that opinion poll task revealed the public believed him to be the biggest game player and evicting Sam wouldn't have exactly helped to dispel that perecption. That's why he was so angry at Joel for acting the martyr....Joel was the one coming across as the hero in that scenario, not him.

At this stage, I think it's a bit disingenuous to criticise any of them for wanting to win. It's a gameshow and that prize money is a lot in anyone's books. The only ones I genuinely believe are not bothered about the money are Joel and Nick, but make no mistake, they'd still love to win.

I'm also a wee bit puzzled as to where the sudden love for Sam is coming from on here. There was hardly a good word said about her here before her untimely demise!
She was supremely annoying and would change her flimsy opinions like the wind in order to please everyone else. It's a personal bugbear of mine, people who spout meaningless platitudes in place of intelligent conversation. The awful hashtag rubbish, the waheys, the constant shit eating grin, mouth agape - utterly vacuous stuff. She reminded me of the equally annoying Corin in Josie's year who would screech 'Lovin' it!" at every opportunity. Ugh.

Of course she fell on her sword when it was blatantly obvious that she was being chosen to go. She was saving face is all and while there's nothing wrong with that, making it out to be an act of selfless sacrifice is a bit much. It was a bit disingenuous of all the HMs to bleat on about how nice she was after she left - they constantly nominated her throughout her stay! Most people here and in the house wouldn't have missed her had she left weeks ago and I won't miss her now.

I honestly don't care who wins now. BB's constant meddling and manipulations haven't helped to make any of the HMs overly appealing this year. I can only hope, in their infinite wisdom, they tone down the human baiting next year, but I won't hold my breath...

Agree with this. The BB meddling has added nothing. Also I don't get the extreme Danny hate, he can do nothing right, but then I didn't get the extreme Marc love, he could do nothing wrong. People lose objectivity neither of them are right or wrong all the time. If Marc did what Danny did he would have been lauded for having balls etc. I really liked Marc but he was an antagonising asshole at times, even he acknowledged this, he would have easily won if the legends had not came in. In fairness none of them are perfect and I don't think any of them deserve to be absolutely hated or put up on pedestals and worshipped.

The key difference is Danny is pretending to be something he's not.

Marc said before he went in that he's an assh*le and that he planned to annoy everyone, so when that turned out to be true, people were happy enough. They got what they expected.

On the other hand, Danny tries to portray himself as a "nice" guy, a defender of the weak etc.
However, we see from his tweets and the various news stories about him that he is anything but.

I agree that everyone has flaws. In fact, those that would go on BB probably have more than most and hating anyone for that is a huge waste of time/energy.

Get Danny and Chloe out :pac::D

I'm now caught up on all the goings on I missed in here, some of you lot are very funny - I've had a quite a few LOL moments reaading back the last few pages.
Re: evictions - glad Harry is gone, she was draining to watch at times. Irrational and illogical, I don't think I could stand another week of her taking the hump with everything. Sam caught a raw deal with that, if it was straight up eviction she was safe. And as has been pointed out she may have had a bad edit, she was funny, charismatic & charming on BOTS.

On the remaining HM's - I hate Danny, he is truly awful. Newton on the moon, inability to spell canoe, constant anger which he tries to hide, this s**t of him "stepping up to take control".
I hate Chloe, she's all about the money, a hypocrite and she's fake. The whole crying for sympathy thing really grates on me.
I'd hate either of these to win, of the rest I'm kind of indifferent. I couldn't pick between them right now, of course that may change over the next few days.

Oh and Emma Willis is rubbish, pretty but rubbish. Rylan is mar more charismatic which says a lot.

I really don't get what she has done in the last few days for that!

That is strange - I suppose they're going by crowd reaction last Friday.

Saying that, this is the most wide open final I can remember for quite a while. Like I said before, I could conceivably see any one of the remaining finalists winning it this year.

Wow! If facts, reality and your own eyes/ears can't change your viewpoint then you're a lost cause ........... unless you're afraid to admit the truth, ie. you are wrong. :)

I think you're missing the bigger picture of what MY original point was. I don't have a video clip and don't need to quote as we know where it is, several pages back. Chloe could have opened her big gob and offered her cash amount and made amends for the error of her ways that had been causing her soooooo much upset. She didn't. Sam did open hers. Makes me despise Chloe even more. MY opinion. You don't think Chloe or any other HM should be offering up their place in the final. YOUR opinion. That's fine by me. Not sure what all the fuss is about.

In one of the cruelest tasks to date all housemates were
lined up in front of their own buzzer and a case full of
the money, pitting them against each other for the lump
    sum.
Speaking to the house, Big Brother said: "Housemates
today you have all worked together in order to raise
money, your collective efforts have raised you an extra
£23,900 – it is in front of you in cash in a secure box
    now.
"It is time for you to decide where it should go.
"Currently it has not been added to the winners prize
fund and Big Brother is offering one of you the chance to
keep the entire sum for yourself.
"Shortly Big Brother will start a one minute countdown
and all buttons in front of you will go live.
"The first person to press their button in the countdown
will receive the entire cash immediately."

i'd bejumping at that chance and i reckon that anyone who has a bit of common sense and recognition of the value of such - would do the same. if they pussy foot round this theyre even more foolish than i thought.

Surely there is a final piece missing? i.e stay or go after that?
BB has remained tight lipped in revealing if anyone
has taken the money we reckon someone must have.
Danny has already admitted he has gone on the show for
cash, while Jack has also expressed his desire to walk
    out with big bucks.
Watch Big Brother tonight on Channel 5 to find out.
