    So I order both this week.

    I always hate getting it because it's so expensive but hopefully it will prevent abortions.

    So in 2008+2009 around half the ewes were aborting but foolishly I didn't send any dead lambs to the lab to find out if it was Toxo and/or Enzo.

    Then in mid 2009 I vaccinated all the ewes with both Toxovax and Enzovax before putting them to the rams.

    Now I'm wondering if I can get away with not giving them one or the other or is it safer to just keep vaccinating them.

    Toxovax = Every 2 years
    Enzovax = Every 3-4 years

    You sure about this? I thought both were one injection for life vaccines :confused:

    We only use toxovax once in their life and haven't had a breakdown, ie we vaccinate them as ewe lambs and that's it.
    We used to always do the ewe lambs with Enzovax as well, but once we got the flock clear our vet told us we didn't need to anymore as we weren't buying in stock

    How do you get away with giving them toxovax once in their life?

    With the Enzovax Rangler, is it that your not getting anymore abortions attributed to enzo that the vet said you could stop using that vaccine?

    Cran: Both are made by Intervet and on the old leaflets it says Toxovax every 2 years Enzovax every 3-4 years.

    I only stopped the enzovax 3 - 4 yrs ago. no problem since but it might be a bit early yet. The vet claimed I could only get it from bought in sheep.
    I'm using Toxovax a long time now and haven't had an outbreak, neighbours used to have up to 30 cats, so I had to keep on top of it
