Anyone know who Asendia use for the last leg delivery to your door?

Are they a new carrier that Amazon are using?

Lets hope they are better than iParcel.

They use An Post. Takes about a week for it to come.

They use An Post. Takes about a week for it to come.

It will be interesting as I've 2 small packages one sent direct with An Post on Monday and the other on Sunday with Asendia, the race is on.

An Post No sign of the Asendia delivery but the one sent with An Post on Monday arrived today Wednesday. If all Amazon deliveries were that fast I'd be very happy.

I'll update on how far behind the item sent with Asendia is when it arrives.

It was always going to be An Post that won. The Asendia one comes from God knows where before being passed to An Post. For me it usually takes a week to arrive with my regular An Post postie!

Second item with Asendia arrived today with the postman. Not perfect but a definite improvement over iParcel.

Edit> So from when they were dispatched thats a 2 days for An Post and 5 days for Asendia.

Ordered a PS4 game on Amazon. They use Asendia and at the time of ordering (3 weeks ago) they said it would be due to arrive on the 28th of July.

2 weeks seemed a fairly long wait for 1 item coming from England but I let it slide because I wasn't in any real rush for it.

28th comes and goes. Still no sign. Got on to Amazon yesterday. They said, "oh it's due for delivery tomorrow". I didn't get a tracking order so I have no idea where the hell it is.

Today... Still nothing. Get back on to them again. They say they've lost the item and I can get a refund or replacement.....

Took the refund. Never had this type of thing happen with Amazon before. Don't get how it can be due to be delivered today and then updated to "oh they've lost the item" in a space of 24 hours.

Yup had a parcel go missing about two weeks back. Asendia and untracked. Got an email on Monday telling me my "undeliverable parcel" had been returned to one of their fulfillment centres.

I am also waiting for a packet from Amazon, Carrier: ASENDIA, no tracking no. Its been nearly three weeks now and no sign of it.

I just got onto amazon and left some pretty bad feedback on Asendia, the service is so poor compared to the previous setup.

Honestly i would urge anyone who is left waiting weeks on orders to kick up a stink about it, its the only way they will take any notice.

I preordered Chemical Brothers new album, was sent day before release with ASENDIA, never arrived. Got a refund.
I ordered The Witcher 3 for PS4 almost 2 weeks ago, sent with ASENDIA again, haven't arrived yet. Already spoke to someone from CCC in Amazon and was told that courier is being assigned automatically by the system and that they take customer feedback seriously, bla bla bla. Apparently there's something wrong with that carrier, as I also ordered some other stuff recently, that was sent with An Post and everything arrived within 2-3 days - and the estimated delivery date was around 5 days from the date order was placed. Only stuff sent with ASENDIA gets estimated delivery dates aprox 2-3 weeks.
It's just really bad, as Amazon was always my first choice for online shopping, but with that ASENDIA now I won't be shopping on Amazon unless I can really save a lot of money. Just not worth all the wait and hassle. Hope someone from Amazon reads the forum.
BTW - on the same day I ordered The Witcher 3 from Amazon I ordered some stuff from ebay, that was sent from Hong Kong. Parcel just arrived today. Still no trace of the Witcher. Now that's bad, when parcels from other part of the world arrive quicker than from across the sea.

I dont see Asendia written anywhere on my order but I'm having issues with amazon myself lately

I ordered items on the 15th of July and it dispatched after a couple of days and despite having a an post looking tracking number it never became active (on amazons website it said the item is Swansea and never moved). I never got it anyways and I got a refund.

Ordered pretty much the same items again and same thing is after happening. Stuck in Swansea since the 5th, have an an post tracking number that doesn't work. It was due to arrive today.

Since I got the refund and placed the new order I got email saying the first parcel was returned to sender.

I'm really not impressed by this, its nearly a month now since my original order. The main reason I use amazon is its usually reliable, normally you would have your stuff in 4-5 days or whatever.

I'm on with chat and they are saying that they will take full responsibility or whatever, but I just want my stuff! This will seriously make me consider using someone else in the future, and I have said as much on the chat (not that it will do any good). EDIT: they gave me £3 credit for the delay. I really would just prefer my stuff :pac:

Yeah never been this bad. The order they sent to replacement the Asendia one that went missing has now gone missing itself! It was with AP though...contacted chat and was told the usual "wait a few more days" spiel.

I got an email from Amazon that i am going to get a refund based on the fact that the item was returned to the sender. Who returned it, i do not know. I also been deducted postages from my refund. Strange

I've just had a parcel of 3 items sent back to Amazon as undeliverable, via An Post. I contacted Amazon, they say the parcel was in an undeliverable state. What does that mean, someone rifled it?

I believed that you know sometimes you see the address label ink as being slightly smudged? Well in some circumstances due to rain or something then it becomes illegible.

Where is going missing for other people? Mine go missing in Swansea.

My third attempt at this order has been dispatched, guess where its first stop off is though... if this goes missing I will go basaltic

Still waiting on a package via Asendia that I ordered on the 3rd of Aug, expected to arrive on the 17th (which was a piss take itself, given it was supposed be 4-5 days).

Contacted customer care and the usual give it a few more days before they'll send a replacements or refund.

Never had any trouble with Amazon previously, but won't be using them again any time soon after this.

If they say give it a few more days it means they don't have a clue where it is but sometimes even before the estimated arrival day they will do a replacement or refund and that has to be because the item has already been logged back into there system. If they send out smudged or otherwise unreadable labels they are going to get the parcels back as soon as the first carrier tries to read them.

Well via Asendia is untrackable, so nobody would have a clue either way.

They can only tell if its been dispatched.

Whatever happened to Amazon using DHL or DPD or whoever they used to use?

Used to have orders in 2-5days no issue, and fully trackable.

What I'm saying is Amazon can put stuff out for delivery with address labels that can never be read. They will get as far as the carrier then get returned, but thats not something Amazon would want to admit.

    FFS!

"Delivered" today by An post, except it's no where to be seen....

Sending them a mail now to see where it was "delivered" to

I just wasnt ment to have this parcel!

got our parcel yesterday, just to clarify, this post has nothing to do amazon...but asendia now to the packing of the box and then send it to dublin where aramex then have it...this then spends a while to go to the other side of the city where dpd get it...its only when dpd in the local depot get does a delivery time pop up,,,2.5 hours in advance...
now the thing is when the driver gave the parcel to me, he said some strange address on this...my name village house address was on it, but not the county...but i think maybe it had a depot i.d. on it...on it sender was aramex...

Hmmm! Old thread but I'm having the same issue .. ordered item on 27th December, dispatched on 30th Decemeber with estimetd delivery date of 14th Jan (from UK!!!!) .... and it still hasn't arrived. I'll get on to amazon RIGHT NOW

Asendia are a disaster. Ordered 11th. Dispatched 12th. Due for delivery on the 25th January. Still no sign. Onto customer service and after numerous attempts they are issuing a replacement item that is now due on the 3rd of Feb.

The item is only a small CD containing a software program and should cost very little to send.

I can't understand why Amazon use this service when it has an expected delivery time of over 2 weeks, if at all. They risk losing valuable repeat business over a small postal cost, on a software item costing £130+ as well as now incurring the full replacement cost of having to reissue the package.

    Madness...

They provide a very good service when they use mainstream courier services. The fact you can not be advised of the long delivery time before placing the order is frustrating. If I had known this beforehand I would have opted for the direct download option when purchasing and I would have avoided a lot of grief for all sides.

Hopefully they will listen and change......

Just to follow up on this post ..... Customer Service were excellent ... They advised me to re-order with next-day delivery (they refunded the cost of delivery) and I got a tenner off.

Slightly off topic. Can you still get free delivery to ROI from Amazon?
I have 4 items in basket. 3 sold and despatched by Amazon and one fulfilled by Amazon. It's trying to charge £8 for delivery. All are 'Eligible for FREE UK Delivery'.
Even if I get rid of the item fulfilled by Amazon and up the quantity of other items sold by Amazon (to keep order >£25), I am getting charged £10 for delivery. One item is an add on item, does this make a difference?
Amazon is a nightmare compared to how easy it used to be.

That sounds like it is some sort of software bug or glitch on their end. If you contact customer support on live chat they are normally very good about fixing stuff like that. I do take your point though that problems like that occur a lot more than they used to before.

Thanks. Maybe I'll try it on the laptop instead of the app and see what's up.
