Sometimes shooting from the hip can bring very interesting results, in street photography in particular (but not limited to this!).

This challenge is to hold your camera at waist-level and shooting without looking through the viewfinder. You will probably need a relatively wide angle lens. A tip for focusing is to pre-focus (Tip: stand in front of a wall and judge how close you want to be to people once you shoot from the hip -focus your lens and keep it there. Then once you are walking by people and shooting from the hip, your subjects should be in focus.)

    RULES:

    - Opening date is at the time of this post.
    - Closing date is Wednesday, the 2nd July at 11.59pm. At this point I will announce the winner and ask him/her to post the next challenge.
    - Only photos taken in this time period will qualify.
    - Only 1 photo per post, but submit as many posts as you like.
    - Image size must be no longer than 800px on the longest side.
    - The next challenge will be chosen by the person who has the most thanks after the closing date of this challenge.
    - Photo must be taken by you.

    Good luck and enjoy!
