Are Argos having a laugh with today's reductions? A foam minecraft sword down to €33 from £128!
    It's only £18 on Amazon.
And that's one of more than 50 ridiculous prices.

I think argos have found a way to get things to appear on the daily scanner

I never knew there was so many versions of monopoly

I already have the regular cozy coupe... It's the best toy ever- we go up and down the street and little man just relaxes! We got it for first birthday - it's for 12-18 months but he's a big lad so it's perfect. I'm waiting for mine in Sligo... I got a reservation code. Argos are very good once you have the email they honour price. I'd go there over Smyths any day... Smyths don't even take the one for all vouchers

They have to make up for the loss they make on other items :-)

Scanner seems a bit off today alright...

It looks like the 'online exclusives' are the problem. They don't seem to be reduced but the scanner is finding a 'was price' for them.

Lots of toys have been reduced, there is huge reductions on minion items but they are all out of stock according to the scanner

You mean you actually think that this was originally €223?! http://m.boots.ie/h5/cat_hub?unCountry=roi&path=/en/Lexibook-Despicable-Me-Minion-Radio-CD-Player_1619838/

There's a monster high password journal available in Cork, Sligo and Monaghan if anyone is still looking for one.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,116 ✭✭✭wilser

Tbf it doesn't say anywhere on the Argos site that this was €223.
It doesn't even mention that it was on sale at any other price.

TBF the poster mentioned the scanner not the Argos site in their post about minion reductions.
Is the scanner just pulling figures from thin air so?

It would be interesting to track prices, kinda like how camelcamelcamel have their graphs.

Great work on the scanner by the way, very handy to find stuff I dont need :pac:

If you ordered/reserved an item that is not in stock until Wednesday, will you still be able to pick it up at today's sale?

It should show the sale price on the order/reservation and that is usually what you pay when you go to collect even if the price increased after your ordered.

I bought a load of bed linen a couple of days ago. The price I reserved on 2 went up and I got charged full price. The girl said every weds the prices change and to watch them. Got a refund.

    Bought one of these http://www.checkargos.com/StockCheckPage.php?productId=2281645

Great quality for that price. I log on every morning just after 7 and see what bargains are to be had. Have an Arsenal Monopoly reserved, that's one Christmas present sorted! Thanks for the work on the stock checker!

Check your reservation number at the self service machine. If the item has gone back to full price, bring your reservation email which has the reduced price to the Customer Service desk. They will apply the reduction and you will get it for the price you reserved it at.
