All the Normandy searching makes me really want to watch Band of Brothers again.

Anyway, my turn. Sorry no bridges or kings on horseback

i went back and read them. What did i do wrong?:o

"I think that each pick should be distinctive enough to make the country chosen reasonably easy to guess. Once a poster got that far, the originator would confirm and perhaps provide a framework for getting closer to the target"

For a start you responded to a mod action on thread which is a pretty basic site rule that you should be aware of.

Manikarnika Ghat on the Ganges at Varanasi.

In Hindu beliefs, Varanasi is the holiest of the seven holy cities and its a place where the people come to pray, but it also the place that their public cremation ceremonies take place, and Manikarnika Ghat is considered one of the more auspicious Ghats to be cremated.
If you look carefully at the picture you can see the mounds of firewood that has been dried out and is ready for sale to the families of the deceased.
