    I'm 24

I got one of the early phone calls, was asked my earliest start date for July ,got asked to complete the background check , exactly a week later I got emailed giving me a date for a medical for next week, so to be honest I don't know why everyone is complaining, my experience of cut-e has been good , a bit of patience would go a long way

Easy to say when your one of the first selected and know you have a job. Some of us have heard nothing and are waiting on word. If not successful we'd like to go looking for other jobs.

Ffs. Anyone who's been through a large recruitment with a large company knows that this is how these things go. Calm down a small bit and stop panicking

Got a call last week to tell me I'll be starting the 6th. The woman I spoke to had no other information about medical, training or location.

Jimd I am Kildare/offaly so surely I b portlaoise, can I just ask cod I don't understand the logic in their behalf

Ye were told you are starting the 6th before you completed the medical?

Or did ye ask if ye got by medical when you would be starting?

I can't understand them telling someone when they start when (hope you do) but you may not start at all

Do ye get wat I'm on about?
They have been so PC so far why change?

I presume so! But yeah I get ya iv no medical done but yet I have a start date let's say I happened to be colour blind that would be apprenticeship gone definitely should have a medical done before I got offered a start date but if ya think about it u the first email just said that we met their criteria and that they would like to offer us a contract subject to a medical and reference check so we never were really guaranteed but I wouldn't worry rgdajd I'd say u are the 6th aswell and theres 3 ppl that got a early start date that are in the Midlands I presume we'll have a day or two a week in a classroom aswell and there not gonna send ppl all over the country for that?

I just checked my emails there, I got my unfortunate email today also.

Just out of interest and see if there's any correlation in anything.

What time and date did ye do your assessment? And if ye were successful or not!

    I did mine on the

    Date: Tues 28-04-2015
    Time: 12:30
    Unsuccessful

And we didn't finish the lego!

All places are gone and have been since last few found out 2 or 3 weeks ago. Id say everyone has heard at this stage unless they are keeping a couple until medicals are done. I got email aswell. Show is over until next year.

Yeah I would of done but I hadn't a notion on the aptitude test at the time but have since been working in electrical contracting and I think that was my advantage this time round, both from a work experience point of view and from ability to actually to do the aptitude test.
