Thats a great onboard. Love that high speed section from 5:17 on down to the first carousel. Some speed through the second one .

I'm a great fan of onboards myself!

Best video I ever seen to show the thrill of tandem drifting was this one...

    Enjoy!

Bonkers! Couldn't believe the wood held the weight, given the amount of flex. And the guy in the drivers seat was pretty smart about the situation, and not just powering on. Letting the car roll down and gently moving onto the boat was probably the best course of action.

Was fully expecting it to end up in the drink when I was watching it. And also...how the hell did he manage to turn the jeep on the pier?!

He put did an engine transplant, turbo'd it,cut out the floor pan and welded in a 4wd floorpan then installed 4wd set up. I'd say he has brakes covered

There a re a few fast Mk1 golf videos on youtube the best being the mk1 golf v the TT supra / 996. There are even a few MK1's and MK2's of that ilk in the country, if i had one i'd do what the guys in these videos are doing - spend all day on the autobahn baiting super cars lol

Its amazing how much the crash safety has come on even in the last 15 years.

    Just stumbled on these :-)

The RSA could learn a thing or two from them, and also far better than any of our crap insurance adverts.

They didn't torque the wheels. They shouldn't get the record.

Whenever anyone is going to admit it or not, but that kind of stuff is usually the most exciting for spectators during rallies.

Half of them wouldn't have gone in if some fcuker had brushed the road!

I remember about 25 years ago helping to pull about 4 or 5 rally cars out of a ditch in Galway ... and some mad ****er of a farmer in a field next to us shooting crows and not giving a flying fcuk where the shot went after it missed whatever he was aiming at.

    ah, the good ole days....

Why they didn't have someone up the road flagging the cars down is beyond me. The rally driver that crashed didn't even bother. Crashes are fun to look at, but no-one wants to see someone being seriously injured, they could've prevented a lot of those crashes.

Description says there was someone flagging cars down. Still didn't work as you can see.

Don't normally like to post chat on a vid thread but seen nothing in the OP or thread title - ^ That GT video was incredible and then it turned into a load of CGI shíte. A glide over the car with the engine revving and fading into 'we're coming home/back' would have given me goosebumps instead of the whole - we're driving through paris at speed, hang on to your coffees stuff.

    Opportunity missed imo
