AMD or Intel

    Up until now have been restricting my search for a new laptop to Intel Core i X processors and now just wondering am I limiting myself for no good reason?
    Any thoughts?

    Intel processors are better. The only way AMD might be superior would be in graphics performance in the A8 and A10 range which would be faster than Intel integrated.

    That said for most common tasks there wouldn't be any noticable difference.

    What's your budget range?

    AMD "Carrizo" might end up good value in the low/mid-end.

    Ah in that price range there in no reason to go AMD at all.
